Golden Century Inc. — Local services in Margate

I'm a new jewelry business owner looking into some assistance with helping design some pieces for my shop. My experience of dealing with Golden Century was memorable in that it was assumed that I couldn't afford the CAD work for the price they were charging. I'm not happy that the folks here assumed that their prices were too much for me to work with, and left it at that. They weren't outright impertinent or rude, but they exuded an air of superiority, probably assuming I'm small-time. It's too bad because I was looking into a long-term business relationship. Furthermore, I deducted one star because the initial sales person I spoke with, was not too friendly either. I had asked if they did "casting." and all I got in reply was: "We are a jeweler not an [casting] agency." (Is this for real?) I ignored her comment, thinking it was just a one-off chance, but I should have listened to my gut instinct, in that Golden Century makes it seem like more than they are. Perhaps at some point in time they imbibed and checked off all the marks of exemplary customer service, but it seems to be lost, as far as this generation is concerned.

Everyone else outside of Golden Century Inc. however, was very kind to me, and I managed to find plenty of great people in Miami, willing to help me out — and for a lower price. I suggest you go down south. It will be worth it...
