The inlet jetty marker is a great location to go fishing, and sightseeing. It also puts on a great show during storms when the waves hit it. You can catch all kinds of fish everything from striped bass, black bass, tog, sheepshead, flounder, etc.. as you walk out the surfing beach is located to the left side which is open to surfers all summer long every day. The town dedicated that area to be used only by surfers, which is really nice during the summer. You definitely want to be careful when swimming next to the jetty, the current can get pretty bad.
