Inlet Park is a hidden gem for anyone looking to capture stunning photos in a serene, natural setting. Located near the water, this park offers breathtaking views of the inlet, especially during sunrise or sunset when the colors of the sky reflect beautifully on the water. The well-maintained walking paths wind through lush greenery, providing plenty of picturesque spots for nature photography. The wooden boardwalks and benches overlooking the water create a charming backdrop, perfect for portraits or candid shots. Wildlife enthusiasts will also appreciate the opportunity to snap photos of birds and other local fauna. Whether you’re an amateur photographer or just looking for a scenic place to relax, Inlet Park provides an abundance of photo-worthy moments. It’s an ideal spot for capturing memories, whether it’s a solo outing, a family stroll, or even an impromptu photoshoot. The peaceful atmosphere and stunning surroundings make it a must-visit for anyone who loves photography or simply appreciates natural beauty.

Lots of stores @ the Inlet area (southern end of the boardwalk). The museum is on the opposite side from the stores which have a good variety to choose nice gifts & apparel. Love the large pet shop , everything you can imagine for your furry friend. The Restaurant has the best view in OC for dining (seafood is the specialty, delicious). It overlooks the inlet & ocean with window views all around. Can be busy at times but worth taking time for. Pricey, but it is to be expected for a resort.

This is a great place to hang out year round, mostly because people don't really notice it. There are benches and a walkway along the inlet. It's great for taking photos or watching the boats come and go. The best part is that even in the height of summer only 100 yards from the boardwalk it can be quiet and reserved.

There's so much here, it's so pretty. The ambiance is great. Just salt winding your hair and being able just to enjoy where you're at. I love going all the way down to the channel and watching everyone come and go across the water. You can walk all the way out and walk on the ocean or take a nice long walk on the boardwalk. For those who are interested in that kind of family situation, the rides are really fun for little kids. They recently upgraded from tickets to a card and point system which is similar to many arcades.

During the day and early evening the boardwalk is generally safe, however that can change as night goes on.

Don't feel like you have to walk the entire boardwalk. A lot of the scenery repeats itself every three or four blocks.

Typically, we had our favorites, thrashers, one of either of the ice cream places, and then on for a snow cone. We'll typically do a couple rides, maybe get some odds and ends from some of the stores there for the beach, and then move on. We really can't spend an entire day or more than a couple...
