The Wedge Bar — Restaurant in Ocean City

We decided to try the Wedge located behind Harrisons Harbor Watch in Ocean City MD since it was an easy walk from the Atlantic hotel. Our experience was in late July 2025.

Service was quick when seated. We ordered conch fritters and their house burger. The conch fritters were slightly greasy but otherwise remarkable. I like thinner burger patties, smash burger style so I looked forward to trying theirs. I always cut a hamburger in half before eating it and that's when I noticed it...the patties were exactly the same size and shape with what appeared to be imprinted grill marks, i.e. frozen patties likely from Sysco. I bit into the burger and immediately was turned off by the texture and taste of the burger. It was not the texture of fresh ground beef, or taste. It seemed to be a cheaper highly processed burger patty. One bite and I asked the waitress to take it back, politely refusing something else from the menu. It took awhile to get her attention and it was moderately busy. Thankfully, the waitress removed the burger from our bill.

I was very disappointed, not only because this burger cost $17, but it was use of low quality products with a high markup. Im not sure how long they'll stay around, but having an awesome view with subpar menu items likely won't help.

There are many dining options in Ocean City with fresh ingredients to choose from, don't be swayed for a view. I'm happy to pay for good quality food and fresh ingredients. Unfortunately, this...

The view of the water is obviously scenic, however it seems they use this as a way to justify the insane prices and subpar service and we will not be back. We came for dinner on a weekend night. Our meal for 2 drinks, 1 app and 1 entree cost $70 before tip. Our server merely took our food order, did not run our food or drinks, and in fact yelled over our heads to another server to run our drinks to us. We ordered a cocktail and a glass of wine which took over 20 minutes to receive. My flatbread was interesting and flavorful however you couldn’t pick it up and was not easy to cut with the plastic?? silverware we were provided with (which is an actual joke for a meal at this price point). It did not come with all of the ingredients listed on the menu and came with arugula under it which it didn’t say it would have. My partner ordered a steak sandwich which came with tomato on it despite not being listed on the menu. The steak was chewy and he didn’t finish it. We were bombarded by flies our entire meal and while this was out of control of the restaurant for the most part, they provided small fans at most tables unfortunately they did not choose to provide them to all tables and when we asked for one our server said they didn’t...

The Wedge Bar and Grill in Ocean City is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious bites and a relaxed atmosphere. Overall, if you're looking for a great meal and an enjoyable experience, the Wedge Bar and Grill is the perfect spot.
