Janet is a CrossFit athlete and trim, while I am a plus sized woman in menopause (plus apple shaped), so I assumed there would be nothing for me at AIB. I was SO wrong! AIB is size inclusive, which makes my heart so happy (to borrow a phrase from the boss babe owner, Ashley). My first couple of purchases were made through Instagram, with $5 shipping. I was thrilled to receive my From the Cape Table sweatshirt and long Barbie-pink sweater. I was nervous to purchase without trying on first, but I asked Ashley detailed questions about fit first. She was very responsive and gave incredible information about how sizing runs. I love on Cape Cod, but far enough away that it’s hard to get to the AIB store. The day of the 2024 Galentine’s event I was in the area with my husband and I made it a point to drop by. I introduced myself to Ashley and she remembered what I had ordered. She had drinks, snacks, and custom cookies for the event. She remembered I have a young daughter and sent me home with cookies for her. While there I asked Ashley about a dress I had seen on her Instagram page. I didn’t think I could wear it since I’m usually a size 18-20 in dresses and it was a large. Ashley reassured me that it runs big and encouraged me to take it into the dressing room. I loved the dress, my husband loved it on me, and Ashley gave me her feedback as well. I was thrilled to make my first in-store AIB purchase and have received lots of compliments on that dress. Almost daily I see something in the AIB stories that makes me wish I lived closer and could get to the store…maybe after the summer traffic is gone. IYKYK! I went into Ashley Irene Boutique yesterday as it was my birthday and I wanted to treat myself. As I walked into the store it instantly lifted my mood (I was already pretty happy- it was my bday) the decor of the shop was amazing and mood lifting! Then the merchandise and accessories were all so beautiful it was hard to choose where to even start. I was then greeted by Ashley herself and she was absolutely lovely. I stumbled across the wide selection (many choices of sizes as well) of beautiful denim jackets and the pink denim caught my eye. Ashley let me try it on- I went between two sizes and Ashley assured me I was making the right choice in size. The moment I put the jacket on I felt so good about myself. The space, the atmosphere, and Ashley herself- amazing! Top notch! Little did she know she made my day so much better and I can not wait to go back into the shop for more! Thank you Ashley for sharing your store with us! I will be back! I also can't wait to tell everyone they have to shop at Ashley Irene...

Not only is this an adorable boutique, with a wonderful selection of unique, size-inclusive clothing & accessories, but its owner truly understands & appreciates her clients! There was a small mix up with a return I made, where it wasn’t showing as posted on my credit card. I messaged Ashley on her Instagram page & she responded immediately. Within the hour she had looked into the issue, contacted the credit card company, stayed in touch with me throughout & figured out the issue! By the next day the return was processed, she sent me email confirmation & messaged me with apologies for the issue. She then generously mailed me a gift card to use next time I shop! The key to great customer service is not never making mistakes or having issues, but it’s HOW you handle them. Ashley could not have been more amazing & showed from the start how much she cares about her clients & her business! Can’t wait to shop this adorable...
