I drive over an hour for Tabitha and her exceptional extensions and color services, and the curated experience she provides for me. Why? Let me count the ways for you: -Constantly educating herself: Tabitha is not only a master of her craft, but is always seeking education and upskill opportunities. Every 8 weeks that I see her, she is flying to this conference or headed to that class. -Extensions knowledge and skills (IBE NBR): She was extremely meticulous in selecting her method of extensions, IBE. I was a devout NBR follower for over 2 years, and after coming up dry and having a not so great prior experience of NBR with a different stylist in Charlotte, I had to expand my horizons. I found Tabitha and was extremely hesitant to try IBE. She took the time to educate me on the differences and advantages of IBE over NBR, and I LOVE IBE now! I constantly am converting my NBR friends, because this dang anchor beads that I used to try and hide on day 3 or a pony day with NBR truly are invisible now. Not to mention it feels so much lighter and more seamless with IBE. You’ll see from the pictures below I have the finest and thinnest (thanks to significant hair loss from a IUD) hair, and Tabitha and her hands always work magic. People NEVER know -Straight forward pricing and communication: Every time I enter her salon, I know exactly what we are doing that day, how much it will cost, and how long it will take. This was a huge change from stylists of my past and I am always so appreciative of her communication style. -Experience vs just a service: Tabitha is fiercely committed to creating a personalized, curated experience for her clients. In advance of my appointment, she always sends a survey that allows me to pick my preferred snack, beverage, music, atmosphere (fun and energetic, quiet and relaxing, need to do work), and it is a game changer! I find myself wishing all services in my life were this personalized and thoughtful. -Color expert: She always educates me on my options (permanent, semi-permanent, etc) and makes sure I have a voice in what I want, and that I am comfortable with what we are doing. It’s always a seamless blend, with multiple dimensions, that lasts for 12-16 weeks on this brunette beauty (which is what she makes me...

Tabitha is amazing! So glad a work colleague recommended her to me. I was seeking help for my thinning hair, which is already a thin, fine hair type to begin with. Previous stylists dismissed my concerns and offered nothing. Tabitha met me with empathy and respect, and then began to share her wealth of hair knowledge at each appointment I’ve had. She has done a stellar job dialing in my hair color and also providing me with a true relaxing spa experience while I’m there (I have 3 young boys, so peaceful experiences are worth their weight in gold!). Tabitha has recommended products that have steadily improved my hair growth. But the real value has been in the tips and tricks she has taught me: how to dry my hair without damaging the ends so much, what brushes to use on my fragile hair, why not to go to bed with wet hair, and how to style my hair with beachy waves and have it actually hold longer than 5 minutes! Where were all these tips in the earlier part of my adulthood?!? And if that weren’t enough, you can also have her prepare an at-home root color touch up kit, to help keep the grays away between appointments. UPDATE: Recently, Tabitha updated her salon’s name to Haven Holistic Salon to better reflect the experience she provides. It’s the perfect name! Her salon is a peaceful, balanced haven when her attention is fully on making her clients feel their best in every area: physical, mental, and spiritual. I always walk out feeling spectacular, calm, happy, and renewed.

Tabitha is the best. Even better, she is continually improving her knowledge and skills, adding specialty certifications in areas such as hair loss and IBE.
