While in the store the individuals were very kind, I was transferred over from Gloria to Angie and in the process they did NOT offer me the best option for my money. They did not remedy situation or find a middle ground with me when I found they did not show me the money saving options. I could have saved about â$400 dollarsâ as per Angie and I could have kept my original ring. By my calculations itâs actually about $500 because the trade in voided the $100 for applying for their credit card. But hey, maybe thatâs the Jared way to take as much money as you can from the customer. My recommendations if you do visit this store:
DO NOT TRUST that they will show you all the ring options you have.
DO NOT TRUST they will give you the best deal.
DO NOT TRADE IN your ring as that cancels all discounts they have going on including the $100 for applying for their credit card. A trade in would only benefit you if they have no sales at the time.
DO NOT allow the staff to transfer you from one staff member to another because they will use that as the EXCUSE for not knowing to show you the best possible deal.
DO NOT fall for their technique to SWAY you purchase and not be able to return your ring. They will say along the lines of âwe can have your ring resized and soldered and...
   Read moreIf I could put zero stars, I would. First of all, we did not get greeted upon entering a door that was half open and half closed with a sign that said to knock or call a number to go in. Not knowing what we were supposed to do, we decided to walked in. A group of 3 staff members stayed standing and staring at us up and down with no greeting whatsoever. I then took out my necklace that was gifted to me for my bday from my husband and showed them that it busted to see if it could get fixed. It had been a couple of months since I had gotten it, so I figured it could be fixed. Without even asking any questions, the worker told me Iâd have to pay $59.99 to get it fixed. What a joke. The fact that we did not get any type of welcoming and had already purchased from other Jared stores and online made me never want to shop there again altogether. Horrible service!!!! I will take my business elsewhere. After paying so much for a piece of jewelry that should last a lifetime, youâd think it could get fixed without having to pay for the service. I wanted to have the Cross placed on my 7 milimeter Curb Chain, but I was not sure if the Cross bevel was big enough to place the Cross on my Chain. I happened to be in the vicinity of Jared's Galleria in McAllen La Plaza Mall, so I decided to drop in ask for what I was looking for. I was approached by Leo, at the time, and he asked if he could help me ,or if he could show any piece of jewelry ? I let Leo know what I was looking for, and he was courteous to ask and if I would allow him to recommend some pieces that I may be interested in. Leo was friendly and determined to assist me in finding what I was in the market for. Leo was informative and knowledgeable of the items he showed me or I asked about. However, I noticed that a Charm of interest caught my eye. I asked Leo if it were possible that the Charm could be engraved with the sign of the Christian Cross on the Charm ? Leo asked his store staff if my request were possible. Leo returned with good news and we agreed to make the purchase.
