First McKinney Baptist Church — Attraction in McKinney

Visited there recently looking for a new home church. Beautiful facility and a lot of people attending which is great! One thing i would recommend improving on is the sound, My wife and I were seated under the balcony but everything was at such a low volume as we really struggled to hear the speakers for the announcements and the sermon and the my wife said the music was "quiet" also. We are not saying we like loud (as we have found in a couple other churches in the area) but we simply count not hear well enough to follow the pastor's message. I have issues with my hearing as a veteran but my wife doesn't. We were a little disappointed. I am not sure we will go back but I would ask that your sound techs check the sound levels...

First McKinney is a warm and friendly body of Christ followers focused on living and loving like Jesus. You will find folks from all walks of life and all stages of life in community. The pastor is a great communicator of God's word and firmly based in Scripture. The small groups are diverse and really allow individuals, families and kids to plug into a community for fellowship, accountability and teaching. First McKinney also has a great heart for those that do not know Jesus in a real and personal way ... whether it be the next generation, our neighbors in Collin county, others in our country or the nations...

First McKinney has been our '2nd home' for many years. It is a family of Christ-followers that is as welcoming and genuine as it is passionate for demonstrating Jesus' love both locally and globally. Sermons are always based upon Scripture and communicated by a humble staff.
