Gaylords Furniture — Local services in McKinney

My Sister and I were headed to another furniture store and she suggested we stop by Gaylords Furniture in McKinney. I was looking for a bedroom dresser or chest of drawers. Within minutes of entering the store we were greeted and Trevor walked over to ask what we were looking for. He showed us where the dressers and chest of drawers were located. He then gave us some time and space to look around. He stayed nearby and was ready to answer any questions I had about the design and pricing. He was very attentive and knowledgeable and I especially liked that he didn’t hover over us. He moved quickly to gather information and convey it. He had a very pleasant demeanor and I noticed his smile and great hair immediately.🙂

I wanted a reasonably priced sturdy, solid wooden piece of furniture. I’d already looked at several pieces at other online stores. I wasn’t looking to purchase anything that I had to assemble. If I can easily move a piece of furniture; it doesn’t pass my test. The selection was great and every dresser and chest of drawers that I looked at; clearly passed that test. However, I noticed a unique piece that had an old world, charming style which made it stand out to me and my Sister. I love cherry wood furniture pieces with a blended traditional and modern design. Since my current home decor consists of cherrywood and oakwood furniture, this piece was really speaking to me. I wanted to check one other store and asked if I could put the furniture on hold for a few hours. But when Trevor talked about wanting to build on my customer loyalty; and the fact that he was sincere, patient and persistent, he was able to close the sale. I had to call the store a few times to check on the delivery and each person that I spoke to was courteous. The last person that I spoke to was John. I wanted to give him some positive feedback about the over-all in store customer experience, as well as, the delivery. John listened very patiently and he thanked me for the feedback. He took the time to answer any questions that I had and spoke with such sincerity. I really got a sense that John finds great value in servicing people.

I've purchased several mattresses from John over the years along with the assortment of accessories . It jas always been nothing but a positive experience.
