Really glad we chose Sky High :) I wanted to buy a bong, never had one before but have used a friend's. We walked in and we're looking the wrong kind entirely, I really had no idea what I wanted, and said some pretty contradictory/silly things lol. But the salesperson (Kayla) was sooooo kind. She pointed us in the right direction and seemed straight up excited to help me pick out my first piece! And that made me even more excited.
I brought my husband because he's been a smoker for way longer than me. But she was so knowledgeable that even he was asking questions. Kayla spent time explaining different aspects and sharing why she likes certain features. She had a ton of good product recommendations but wasn't pushy AT ALL. (Tbh she was great at sales, I definitely bought some extras I wouldn't have if she didn't recommend them.)
She was also really patient while I looked over their huge selection. I took a while to pick an extra bowl but never felt hurried. I actually felt like I could have asked to see a ton more, or spent more time comparing. I don't know, it was just so chill, the exact kind of experience you want.
And I actually get awkward talking to people, especially when I feel like I don't know anything, but she seriously made the whole thing so fun. I feel like I got exactly what I needed and some fun extras, too. I ended up buying the first bong she showed us - simple, easy to clean, nice thick glass. It was a perfect beginner rec.
I've bought a couple of pipes at other places and Sky High's prices seem pretty similar. I don't have a ton to compare to, but I'd pay extra to feel that welcome even as someone who may not be their normal clientele. Or maybe I am now, because they have so so so many cool pieces. Oh!! And they have a ton of glass from local artists!! LOVE that!

Read moreSTAY AWAY AND Do NOT do business with this place, the owner Jesse is rude, disrespectful and has absolutely no clue about business etiquette AND customer service which lacks immensely, actually doesn't exist. I took a piece in for repair and wanted to know approximate cost and time frame. He didn't know anything until I mentioned the gals name who works for him and he called her and then said "she has it, bought parts and will be working on it". I asked again for approx. time frame i.e. a month, next year and cost". Jesse said I just told you what more do you want. I told him he was being rude and disrespectful and he said I was. I said I'd be in to pick it up and to have his employee call me when she can bring it in for me to pick up. I went to the store within 20 minutes of this call and the employee that does the repairs was in the store. She and I started talking and then Jesse brought over my piece and slammed it on the glass counter which we all know jeopardized the integrity of the piece that cost $175. He said to get out of store he is not doing business with me since I was rude to him. I asked for bubble wrap to transport since I brought it in with it and he grabbed the piece again , I thought for sure he was going to drop it or throw it. He said so you know we don't make money from repairs and you should take it to where you bought it. Read moreI am a daily smoke shop customer and I just moved to the area from the Bay. I walked in to buy a nector collector. For whatever reason the cashier was only trying to show me the big old school ones. I told her I like the tiny ones with the tiny nails to preserve my dabs. she told me it cost $25 which is very pricey for such a tiny nector collector. Even in the Bay Area I used to get them for $20 EVERYWHERE. I told her I would give her $20 and I promise to keep coming back and I will also sign up to subscribe for her promotional email/text list. The cashier said that will work! Then she walked me over to the register then says it's $24.99!!! I advised her I had $20 on it again and that I would return tomorrow. Cashier said she thought I said something else and CANNOT help me out! I settled feeling complexed and bought the nector and left! Same day while using the nector and NOT dropping in any way I put my torch towards it to heat it up for a dab and it broke instantly. Probably, the cheapest nectar collector I've ever came across!!! I buy one of these once every 2-4mos. I decided to call the next day to let them know how horrible their products were and see if they can replace it or give me a discount. The phone rang busy ALL day from morning to evening. This place has to be one of the biggest scam smoke shops I ever came across. My brother owns his own smoke shop in AZ and I disappointed in the level of quality that they carry as well as their customer service. I will never come back here again!...
