I do not leave a review like this often, however, the superior service we received during a recent stay is well worth a moment of my time. The first person to welcome my weary traveling companions and myself, was Elizabeth ( forgive me if I get her name wrong) . We were dragging ourselves in from a very blustery snow storm after backtracking the last couple hours of our trip, looking for my boyfriends wallet that was misplaced. The prolonged drive was especially hard on our youngest traveler, age 5 and autistic. Needless to say we were ready to relax and get some rest.
Elizabeth went above and beyond accommodating us with our last minute booking and ensured we were all cared for, before handing over the reigns to the graveyard shift. She graciously gave us a late check out as well.
The next morning our reinvigorated crew went to sample the offerings of the free breakfast. It was the typicL fare, that included scrambled eggs sausage hash browns and Waffles. Unfortunately the juice machine was not working correctly so all of us that were hoping for a refreshing glass of orange juice or apple juice we're disheartened to see it wasn't available. At that moment the general manager stepped up and offered us bottled juice, that was normally sold from their cooler case. We were so appreciative of the hot meal the good night's rest and the friendly staff but we're pleasantly surprised at the normally Bland hot breakfast, to find that they were the best eggs sausage and potatoes that we'd ever had at one of these breakfast. Which we've experienced many times over, at other hotels.
I cannot yell any louder that I absolutely recommend anyone coming through the Medford area that needs a place to stay should go to Clarion...
Read moreNeeded a place to crash on our way down to California . Didn’t wanna drive down the pass while it was dark and roads condition are slick so decided to get a hotel.
My wife came upon this Clarion Pointe hotel in Medford, Oregon . The rates was phenomenal at $70. We decided to book. The rooms are spacious and nice with a mural of Crater lake. Two queens and clean but what we didn’t know was…….
When my wife went to use the bathroom the next morning the water kept running and she woke me up to check . I Pop the top off the toilet and found what was blocking the flap. Two Syringe needles … wow … I turned off the water supply and was apply to get the needles out the way. No I didn’t touch it with my hands. I use an empty Gatorade bottle…
Went to tell the front desk and he was apologetic but wasn’t surprised. He waited for another staff to relieve him of duty and she will help us and contact the maintenance guy. The new staff came and we told her. She said there will be no maintenance guy coming in to clean or clear the problem. So my family had to go up and down the elevator to use the bathroom in the lobby.
Such a hassle and we ask again and nothing was done so we decided to check out few hours early. No help. No Accommodation what’s so ever.
All in all . Looks can be deceiving. I guess that’s what this is a 2 star hotel.
Location is ok. Rooms is fine besides the needles In the toilet.. The service was so-so other than the First Gentlemen we booked with. We didn’t even make a big scene infront of other guess in the lobby and kept it quiet
Atleast give us a refund on the 6 bottles of water we bought to try and atleast satisfy your customers. Or hell even a free room. What’s $70 to satisfy and make your...
Read moreI would’ve gave 5 stars because the room was nice, in a very convenient location with everything within walking distance staff was super helpful I stayed almost a whole week and enjoyed it until i encountered a front desk employee named Antonio. Late last night/early morning I made sure to check with front desk staff about late checkout which the lady working agreed to and said 1:30 -2 pm because I had a bus to catch at 3:45 and was not trying to be stuck walking for hours with all my heavy luggage so I was relieved to get late checkout. The problem occurred when I went to step out at 12 pm to run to the store and I checked with front desk to make sure I was still ok for late check out which I was VERY rudely informed that no and even though I had asked way prior he had no record of me and the lady’s conversation and he gave a gentleman late checkout so I needed to get my stuff and go, so since I wasn’t expecting to leave right then I went upstairs to gather the rest of my things not very long after he was banging on my door rushing me and making me uncomfortable, so after I leave the room I still have several hours to wait and I politely asked if I could please leave my luggage with the front desk for an hour so I didn’t have to carry it all which ANTONIO cut me off and began to argue with me about what the previous lady had told me even though he wasn’t present then he proceeded to kick me out not even 1 min into this conversation, when I asked his name he proceeded to tell me he won’t tell me and HID HIS NAME BADGE, on top of his horrible attitude and customer service, I have never in my life been so disrespected at a hotel before and he very blatantly did not want me there in...
