El Arriero — Restaurant in Medford

Oddly enough it's not called Mexican restaurant. It's called el arriero. And no I'm not completely illiterate I know it needs capitals but I'm using talk to text and I don't really give a rat's you-know-what. If you want to know about the food continue reading. It's quite tasty it's typical of many of your other restaurants locally that have been around i e c Casa Flores and El Tapatio from others. These guys though have seemed to hang on to that special I don't know what to call it that makes it really good. Just beware that once it gets dark remember you're in the WinCo parking lot and it's like Ground Zero for weirdos. So make sure you're done eating before then and get your vehicle otherwise you might have to fight...

Overpriced and mediocre at best. Got 2 Asada Burritos and 2 chicken tacos for $47. Chicken tacos were awful actually. They had an off-putting smell, were dry and bland with almost no ingredients other than chicken and lettuce, and were cold when they were given to me. The food is just sad and I was extremely disappointed to be paying almost $50 dollars for a couple meals that simply were not enjoyable. You can get much better Mexican food for almost half the price at something like Jalapenos or muchas gracias. Also the portion sizes were very underwhelming. You would think that a burrito costing almost 20 dollars would atleast be a decent portion of food but nope. Would not recommend to anyone. Don't waste...

Outstanding! Went for lunch at 1pm. Of course, got right in and seated. Waiter came right away with salsa and chips. I liked these. Salsa wasn't too hot. I usually have to stop eating them because my mouth gets too hot, but not here. My diner partner also got some avocado. She said it was good. I don't touch the stuff. The waiter was very attentive. Checked on us frequently to ensure we had all we wanted. The food was served quickly, @ 5 minutes after we were seated. But figure that to the late lunch time.
