La Fondita Authentic Mexican Food — Restaurant in Medford

I’ve never been here but was craving some Mexican food so bad so when we were told about this place, we went and checked it out. We didn’t realize it closes at 5 and we got there 5 minutes before it closed so we thought we were gonna have to leave and try another day but the owners were super nice and still let us order! I was so grateful because usually that never happens for us and let me tell you, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The home made tortillas were amazing. The horchata was the best I have ever had because it was creamy and just delicious. We were given these tacos that just had beans in them to welcome us for being there for the first time and just wow! How could something so simple be sooo good!! My mom had a birria taco with consommé and a side of rice and I had a carnitas burrito, they were absolutely fantastic. They even had us sample their horchata coffee and holy crap, it tasted so yummy! I could drink that every morning over ice!! This is my new favorite truck to go to. I wanted a tamale more than anything but they were out since it was the end of the day for them which was totally understandable but I’m even more excited that they have great tasting food and everything I like and would want!! If you’re looking for an amazing place to eat, you have found it. The food? Absolutely incredible! The owners? They are the sweetest, kindest people you could ever meet! He came out and explained everything on the menu to ensure we ordered exactly what we were looking for food wise. The location? Set up perfectly.
