Melbourne Auditorium — Attraction in Melbourne

My wife and I, along with another 600 music lovers attended the Melbourne swingtime and the full Melbourne Orchestra. Great music by great dedicated musicians! What a treasure for the people of Melbourne. It is too bad that the city of Melbourne is cutting the funding. In order to keep playing the Orchestra plays for free but accept donations. Ok Melbourne…. This auditorium has outlived its 100 year ( or however old it is) decor. The place has been around forever and the only thing that is modern is the sign out front. Melbourne city council should open its wallet and put some money into this dilapidated building. Or better yet build a new one. The inside is old old old ! This place has turned into a homeless camp. Was there for sons school Christmas program as we are every year. There were guys on bicycles selling drugs by the playground. Two men fighting around back of library. The police car parked there was a joke. There were actually tents set up under the trees at the playground. Normally we explore the water and playground during our visit. This year was by far the worst I have ever...
