My sister lives in West Melbourne, and my family (sister, mom, niece, boyfriend, and me) were out for dinner on a beautiful Saturday night (May 10). I honestly don't like pizza that much but by niece really wanted to go and we (BF and me) are on vacation celebrating my birthday and this place had such high ratings so why not, right? OH. Em. Gee. This is quite possibly the best pizza I've ever had. Star pizza! I ate almost three pieces, which shocked my family - they know I don't like pizza. I visit my sister often for work in the area so we were already talking about coming back in a couple of weeks. The atmosphere and the service up to this point is amazing. We were sat very quickly even on a busy Saturday night. We were outside and when the rain started we were moved very quickly to a dry table. Our server, Adli, was nice and made great recommendations - we ate everything on the table. It was so good that we ordered an extra pizza right there on the spot. That got devoured as well. It was a really good night with really good food - we were all very happy. Until... My sister asked for the check. Adli said 'of course'. When she comes back she gives the check to my boyfriend. She makes a big deal about it - she walked around the table, away from my sister, between my boyfriend and me, and says 'here's the check. No rush'. Then she leaves. We were all bewildered. My sister asked for the check but Adli gave it to my boyfriend. We sat there trying to figure out why: Was it because my sister is a woman? Was it because my boyfriend is the only man at the table? Was it because my boyfriend was the only white person at the table? Was it because we are all women of color except for my boyfriend? Did Adli think my sister wouldn't tip or couldn't pay? No matter the reason, be it intentional or not, It put a real damper on an otherwise great night. My niece immediately said 'why did she ignore my mommy', so we had to explain microaggressions to her My boyfriend paid the bill and we left. We won't be back. No pizza is that good. Thanks Adli.

The pizza was not very good. The pizza had almost no cheese or toppings on them at all. It was like a thin cracker with sauce on it. Our first time at the restaurant and we did not receive the service that we had expected. We ordered a cold pizza which we did by mistake not knowing what it was which was our own faults but had we been helped by knowing it wasn't our first time we could've learned this. Our server was not attentive to our table at all. We had to sit and wait to ask questions about our food after they walked around the dinning room talking to every other table and wave them down to come speak with us. We had ordered a salad as well and never received any dressing for the salad. We had to ask again and wait to wave them down again to ask for the dressing "oh yeah ranch, oil and vinegar, or Caesar dressing" was the exact words they said and walked away again. The salad came out at the same time as the pizza. We had ordered 3 pizzas and had to wait on the 3rd one for almost 10 minutes the other ones had already been eaten by the others. We had never received until almost all the pizza was gone any of the table oils for the pizzas as well. The chicken in the salad was completely dry, the salad was romaine hearts but was full of giant chunks of the butta of the romaine. I'm sorry no one wants to eat hard pieces of romaine like that. Unfortunately we will not be back again. For new time customers you should speak to them and help them along with what everything is in the menu. That would help the place out.

A great place for a meal in Downtown Melbourne The restaurant Mister O1 gets its name from the type of visa granted to individuals with “extraordinary ability”—a nod to the founder, Italian-born chef Renato Viola, who came to the U.S. under that very designation. He started his restaurant in 2014, and after earning a reputation for his unique, high-quality pizzas in Miami, the concept has grown. I had never even heard of this chain and happened to stop in to get a meal before going to a show at the Henegar Center in Melbourne, Fl. located right next door. Parking is street parking and can be challenging depending on the day and time. The restaurant has a modern, upscale feel while still being casual and inviting. Service was prompt and friendly, and the space was clean and comfortable. The real star, of course, is the pizza. Mister O1 is known for its thin, crispy crusts and creative toppings, and it delivered. I ordered the Star Liana, a signature pizza shaped like a star, with ricotta-stuffed crust and lots of cheese. It was one of the most flavorful and well-balanced pizzas I’ve ever had—fresh, bold, and just different enough to stand out. We ordered one of their salads and could have taken it home for another meal after eating our fill. Prices are a bit higher than your average pizzeria, but this isn’t average pizza. It’s artisan, and it shows. Mister O1 in Melbourne is definitely worth a visit if you’re craving something next-level.

Took our 2 oldest Granddaughters and their boyfriends there for dinner. Sat outside because we chose to. Our waiter was more worried about 'chatting up' other single girls than he was about waiting on us (and my husband who was paying is a big tipper). 5 of us were served in close proximity, but one wasn't served at all. Finally my husband flagged him down to find out what happened to her pizza. "OH, it got burned, we had to make another." No offer of warming ours up, tho, or some more to drink. Finally hers came out, and ours were cold. My husband, again stated to him that ours were cold. He litterly shrugged and said, 'sorry' and walked away!! So, we all started eating. The crust is VERY thin, so there was no warmth. It was OK, but I certainly wouldn't pay $17 for a 13" pizza there. Then the waiter was going to bring the bill, but the girls wanted a Nutella pizza for dessert. Now THAT was delicious, but only 3 of us could eat and he never asked anyone else if they wanted anything or even more drinks. Then he came back with the bill and stood in front of my husband waiting for a tip. There was already 20% added on. He kept waiting, my husband said, "That's it." He made a huffing sound and walked away. Before we were able to get up to leave, he came back, walked around the table and placed a business card in front of the others with his name written on it. "Tell your friends to come and ask for me!" Our younger Granddaughter (18) and boyfriend almost in unison said, "We would not tell our friends to come here or to see you!" I was surprised, because she is usually the quiet one....but it was HER pizza that held everyone up (good manners) and she was upset with the waiter for not letting us know or offering to heat them up!! I called and reported our experience with the Manager and 'Conner'. Never heard back from him, so we will never go...
