Riders On The Storm Inn — Hotel in Melbourne

The most disusting inn i have come across and ive been in inns all over the East coast. Not only did they have an infestation problem with cockroaches the inn keepers were just as bad. They might as well peep in our windows. No where does it say they do not accept children however once they looked at my son they said we had to leave. I felt more like i was in a prison versus a hotel room. They do not have hot water. Other guests who have been there long term warned us about prostitution, drug use and overdose by many guests. And not only that but i felt so unsafe by the inn keepers and leaving my stuff in the hotel that i had to have someone in the hotel at all times. When they couldnt take our things and pawn them they tried to keep our deposit!!!! They accused us of having a cat!!! Nevermind that i am allergic. Upon asking for proof of this animal they said their maintenance man saw it. Excuse me??? They tried to keep my deposit until it turned into an aggressive argument and bothered their...

Full of roaches, they told me after I paid (no refunds) that the people before me lived there a year and we’re “nasty” then told me I was “high maintenance” and asked me to leave because all of the appliances went out within 2 day. To top in off I was laying in bed with my daughter and the owner walks (with his key) right in the door without notice. The neighbor chain smokes outside the door making my room stink and the bathrooms were moldy, I bleached them myself every day before showering and it was still black when I left.

If you like cheap and don’t mind cohabitation with roaches, this is your place. Also the owner is creepy as hell and will tell you he’s watching your every move, which he does cause he has nothing better to do seeing as they’re not...

I gave a three stars because the picture they're showing is not the pick of the place looks like at all. What you're not seeing is that it sits on a dirt road. Between two large auto dealerships very easy to drive past. I did four times. parking lot is paved with white lines and the buildings they look like something out of the 1985. Don't drive to the back of the property looks dangerous. Now the rooms I was pleasantly surprised they come with kitchenettes for cooking and little refrigerator table with four chairs. the you need to move now bathroom nice and clean look new look like they renovated inside but didn't do the outside.
