I usually love to go to this theater, but Manager B. Thomas’ quickly changed my opinion
Trying to watch the new Aquaman movie which was amazing, however the selfish audacity of people nowadays is atrocious & needs to be publicly called out. From the very beginning of the movie, every 5 to 10 minutes, in a crowded full theater, people kept getting up & walking out & into the theater making more noise then the actual movie itself & blocking the screen. It wasn't even children that were doing this, it was adults, teens & young adults. People seemed to more act like it's their own household watching a "streaming movie" rather then in a public environment with other people, & again these are adults, not children, but people who SHOULD have the common curiosity to either not even go to a movie if they know they have to come in & out of the theater so noisy, or at least pick a seat near or on the edge of the theater if they want to go to the movies anyway, if they know their gonna have to jump in & out of the theater.
On top of this, had the audacity to experience a teen & her father or whoever who sat behind my mother & myself, & continuously shove our seats getting in & out of the theater, when in fact she had nobody sitting in the 3 empty seats at the end of her row, & she was very much in perfect shape to easily avoid bumping into us. The Karen's father or man or whoever then had the audacity to "defend" her when she was questioned about shoving my mother & myself 3 times throughout the film, when again, their were nobody blocking her from the other 3 empty seats to leave. Talk about being targeted or something. When I tried to get an apology, the father got in my face & started shoving his finger at me, which by reaction I of course swatted it away, being not only the fact, her father or whoever is defending poor behavior, but now calling me out while getting in my space bubble, which then apprantly “gave him the right” to start punching & beating me, causing me to tumble into an elderly lady, causing her nose to nearly break, only to have him keep beating. Luckily an off duty cop & some others got him off me, while I tried to force him to stop by grabbing his legs to back off, I left that theater in tears & in black & blue only to have the off duty cop to be yelling at me that this was “my fault”. If it’s a crime to get an apology after being shoved by someone who not only shoves yourself, but your own mother, then go ahead & give me the electric chair.
After all said & the done, the manager, Mr “B Thompson” then desires it’s smart to get me trespassed after I was nearly beaten by a guy who raised or at least congregates, with some teen woman who thinks shoving people repeatedly is ok behavior.
I’m for certain if Mr. “B. Thompson” was being shoved around along with his mother, he would’ve at one point try to stand his ground & demand his own mother to be given respect, but after this, I bet he’d sell his own mother for a slick nice paycheck.
What’s worse this isnt the only or first time I had rude people in the same theater as me at this location, & not once did any manager or staff try to do ANYTHING, but yet when it comes towards doing something to people trying to stand up for their own mother & their own movie watching experience that paid good money for, they’ll kick you out & only call the cops then.
Going to AMC & Cinema 16, the staff would do anything to ensure that disruptive & poor behavior of customers were called out & removed, even having staff who monitor the individual theaters to ensure the safety & hood treatment of everyone.
One way or another I'm done playing this game, with fully grown adults who act like spoiled children, when even the kids they are taking acts more mature then themselves, & with managers who tresspass people after those same people were attacked in their own...
Read moreShame on Premiere Theaters Oak! Wish i could give 0 stars. My boyfriend and I were there on Sunday 2/16 for a movie date. Unbeknownst to us, my boyfriends wallet fell out of his pocket between the seats in the theater, but he didn't notice it right away. After he noticed his wallet was missing, he searched his home, truck etc. He called the theater about his missing wallet, and they told him that they didn't see a wallet. My boyfriend knew that it wasn't in his home or truck, so it had to be at the theater. He went up there in person the next day, Monday 2/17 to speak to the mgr about his wallet. The mgr was being nonchalant about helping him locate his wallet. As my bf spoke with another worker about his wallet, the mgr yelled at the worker to 'get back behind the counter. ' Weird. Finally he let my bf search the theater, so he looked in and around the area we sat in, with a flashlight, but he couldn't find his wallet. He walked out of the theater to tell the mgr that he couldn't find it. The mgr tells him that he'll help, but first he went to the back for a long while. He then came back out and walked in the theater to "help" him look again. Magically the mgr "found" his wallet stuck in between the seats in a totally different area than we sat. The theater was warm, but when he handed my bf the wallet, it was cold. Interesting right?!? They walk out and my bf notices that his $120 is missing. He mentions it to the mgr, but of course he doesn't know what happened to it. My bf was upset about his money, but happy everything else was there(cc, license etc) and that none of his cc were fraudulently charged, but I find the whole ordeal very suspicious. Let's run the cameras to see the real truth!!! We will NEVER go...
Read moreI saw a movie last night with two of my friends. As soon as we walk in we this middle aged white man in a bright orange shirt standing up and yelling to his friends in the back of the theatre. I went out and told an attendant who told me that he knew exactly who the people were and promised me they would stop when the movie started. Surprise surprise, they got even louder when the movie started, and even yelled out a racial comment or two regarding one of the black actors. I have never in my life heard someone literally YELL an entire movie back and forth (let alone scream obscenities and racial comments). We went out to notify staff a total of 4 times. Nothing was ever done about the issue - an attendant came in for all of 5 minutes to watch and of course the middle aged child screaming knew to shush until he left. We called to complain as well and were told AGAIN that these people were regulars and did this about 4 times per week. I’m blown away that the Oaks would let people act in such a manner on a very regular basis. It’s disrespectful to other paying customers and anyone who doesn’t want to be berated by obscenities and uncomfortable, unasked for racial commentary...
