James Gattas Jewelers — Attraction in Memphis

Every experience I have had at James Gattas Jewelers has been excellent. They have been the only jeweler in Memphis I have used (and plan to use) because of their excellent customer service and quality of product. My first experience with Gattas was a custom pendant made with a gem from my grandfather's tie tack. They used a family heirloom to create a beautiful piece that has become a staple in my (now) fiance's jewelry rotation. This experience went so well that I enlisted the help of Phillip to make sure I picked out the perfect engagement ring. He took the time to meet with my fiance and I on several occasions to make sure that the ring would be perfect. He showed me a great selection of diamonds and tipped me off to a setting that I never would have thought of. Once everything was selected he went out of his way to make sure that I had the ring as quickly as possible so that I could pop the question on my own schedule. I have also had a great experience with Amy. I brought in a bag of watches to get some batteries replaced and one new watch band. The watch band was for a watch that belonged to my grandfather, and was scratched up from years of being worn. While I would have worn it with a new band, it would have looked a little shabby in the state that it was in and I would have worn it only on certain occasions. She made the suggestion to get the crystal replaced, something I would have assumed to have been incredibly expensive, but she told me the price and now the watch that sat in my watch box for years looks brand new and I can wear it every day. I can't explain the joy it brings to me to actually be able to wear this watch and how good it looks.

We casually walked into James Gattas not sure what to expect after a very disheartening experience at another "not named" jewelry store. Miranda came out and greeted us, asked questions and listened to what we were looking for. We looked at many rings,they were all pretty but not quite right. Then out of the corner of our eye, we both saw this pear shaped diamond engagement ring almost at the same time. We instantly fell on love with it. The ring has a matching wedding band that you can order and we of course did! Miranda then took time to find the perfectly sized and beautiful diamond to tie it all together. All were a great price within our budget. Miranda offered to work with us on the payment. We won't go into that lol. After we placed the order, it took a few weeks to make the rings, during that time, Miranda found a diamond and asked us to come in..it is beautiful! Once the rings came in, Miranda sent the engagement ring off to the setter, who set the diamond and had it back to her very quickly. Phillip was very pleasant to work with. He was very attentive in finding me the best option to make my ring beautiful. He pulled out all the stops. We searched through the catalog and decided what to go with. We worked on pricing, so there would be no surprises. He even sent me a video for comparison of the old and new. I was so excited. I absolutely love my ring. It looks like a totally different ring. I love it. He even suggested making the old cluster into a pendant. Yes you guessed it we went with a solitaire coupled with a halo setting. Now I have the best of both worlds. Loveliness on my finger and Loveliness on my neck.
