Coming from a big city where thereās a plethora of bubble tea shops, I was wary of what the quality of tea would be like here but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! My highest ratings go to the cheese foam tea offerings that Iāve tried (Earl grey and oolong). The teas are dark in color which to me is a great sign the flavor will be strong, and it was!! The ācheese foamā was also very delicious. Iām always so disappointed by shops that sell bubble tea that either clearly used some powder blend or make their teas really weak/watered down. But the aforementioned drinks at Poke world were real, fresh teas, strong in flavor and delish!! The regular oolong milk tea and the classic milk tea werenāt as strong as I wouldāve liked it but that could just be due to milk ratio. If you enjoy bubble tea, Poke world has quality tea AND for a reasonable price compared to other nearby tea shops (šāļø&šØš» iykyk).
As for the poke, I have to say I was surprised at the amount of protein they put in the bowl!!! Usually I expect the protein to be skimped on but they gave me more than enough! My bowl was packed full of fresh vegetables and protein and it all came together wonderfully. As much of a bubble tea fanatic as I am, Iād come here just for the poke!!
Lastly, I love that they have plenty of seating, games, great music playing, and for those that like studying at shops, LOTS of outlets! The only thing that Iāve noticed a few times that needs addressing is the floors. Seems like it needs a good sweeping and mopping. Other than that itās an enjoyable experience! Plus they have a loyalty card that gets you a free drink after 6! 10/10 recommend giving...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe walked in around 6:05 and ordered a 6 count of mochi donuts. We waited ~40 minutes (we finally left at 6:50). They were busy, so we decided to be patient and wait because we assumed the donuts were being made fresh (I'd rather wait a long time and receive fresh/hot donuts than to wait a short time and receive stale/cold donuts, you know?). Nope, turns out they just forgot our order and we waited for nothing. The donuts aren't cooked fresh or made to order. We couldn't even eat the donuts once we got them because they were cold and stale (they have been sitting on the rack since before we arrived). The only reason why I didn't ask for a refund is because I promised my family I'd bring them mochi donuts. The donuts were edible once microwaved, still not worth the price or wait though.
Edit: We didn't hide in the back or leave, we sat in the front booth and got up/walked by the employees several times. My point is we were VERY visible, so there's no excuse for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUpdate* I have to retract my previous review. The new staff has definitely caused a new and positive experience. This time I called in the wrong order. I wanted a hot honey dew tea but forgot to inform the cashier. They swiftly made the correction without any trouble calling in the order . A huge thank you to the cashier for being so kind and understanding!!! Thank you for the great service today!!
Previous review** I attempted a call in order but the cashier told me they were to busy to take an over the phone order. Wow customer lost! This place has awesome tea but it's unfortunate that they usually have very terrible customer service at this location. This takes the cake for me. Another time I called in they told me they do NOT have hot tea. My hope is that someone in management please view this and hopefully train the staff. Many customers will be lost if...
