Of Wolfchase, Carriage Crossing, and Oak Court, I would say that I bought vast majority of the really good stuff from Oak Court. I think it's probably because Wolfchase and Carriage Crossing are too high profile and are in rich neighborhood locations so the good stuff get sold out really easily. With Oak Court, I bought really good leather boots and shoes for 20 to 30 dollars at its Dillard's with upper-end fashion brands (I kid you not, it's really that price, I got a Calvin Klein dress shoes for 23 dollars--original price was 109), and upper-end Lauren Ralph Lauren (my favorite brand) shirts for around 30 dollars on the average (original price ranged from 70 to 119). Incredible thing is that I can find in Oak Court my sizes much more (xs-s) than the other two, and the clothing items are also much better organized than especially Wolfchase (people don't just throw clothes that they've picked up around nearly as much). Oak Court also has Vince Camuto in Macy's, another favorite brand of mine, which neither Wolfchase nor Carriage Crossing carry. Oak Court is also the nearest to where I live so I can visit often, it's also next to a gas station, and it's also the only mall of the three that has Godiva. So even if I don't buy clothes, I can treat myself to a nice piece of chocolate. Overall my experience has been very positive. The Oak Court might be the smallest of the three malls, but its fashion selection is really quite impressive. You can get lots of good stuff there for very good and/or...
Read moreOkay this mall has seen its Better Days. I remember when this mall was a fairly decent place to shop when I moved here in 2010. However due to an upsurge in severe crime in and around the mall in the last few years, almost all of the good reputable stores have left the mall.
It is sad to me to see less desirable stores in place of the ones that we Loved Before. However I give it not one star but two simply because the Dillards and a Godiva chocolate shop is still there. However if you do Venture into this mall, do know that is a very dangerous area and keep your eyes open at all times walking to and from your car in the parking lot. I would park upstairs on the second level in front of Dillard's very close to the store. There's usually a security vehicle floating around this area.
I have gotten used to the crime in Memphis, so this mall does not really scare me as far as the severity of some places here in Memphis. To me I don't mind taking the risk for the convenience of going to a close...
Read moreDillards at Oak Court Mall customer service is non existence. In the past I was able to purchase items and have it ship to an address. I was told by one salesperson to make my purchase on the internet. Currently, I do not have internet and I thought purchasing directly from the store will speed up the process. The salesperson told me that I might need to go to customer's service. I did and that person told me that it should had been handled from the floor. I told her I was directed to her. She picked up the phone and dialed a number. She handed me the phone receiver and told me speak with Patricia to place my order. Why is the store opened when you can't receive service. Oak Court Dillard's was known for excellent service but this is not case anymore. If people are willing to come in and spend their hard earned money in your store, there is expectation that the salesperson as well as customer's service personnel are...
