Wolfchase Galleria — Attraction in Memphis

We decided to go to the mall Saturday when it opened at 10:00 a.m. on April 6th 2024. So my husband and my two daughters wanted to ride the carousel.( the kids wanted to ride the carousel.) Once my husband and oldest daughter got on the Carousel and we had paid for four tickets because we're all supposed to ride. However my youngest decided not to well since we didn't get to ride we lost out on that money. We paid for four yet two road. Well you can't get a refund. And what I didn't understand is in the end she wanted to ride it and got brave enough and the lady wouldn't let us just use the amount of money that we paid earlier so that we could just write it now. Rude. Apparently the person working the carousel was too busy playing on her phone and FaceTiming people. So we naturally went in there to Claire's to get my daughter's ears pierced. There was no one in there. It was great. The lady took very good care of my daughter and was able to pierce her ears and she was very kind and patient. I also saw all of her equipment sterilized it was great. I really didn't want to get him pierced at the mall I'd rather go somewhere else however in the end it worked out great. However if you're thinking about getting your ears pierced here, be prepared to spend at least $100. Because earrings that they have now I like 75 to $85. However that lady was awesome and she rocked. There's nothing in the mall hardly anymore. All the food stations that used to be there or gone. Except for the cookie place and the pretzel place. Unfortunately this mall has become a sad sight to see. I've been going since the early 2000's, and it seems that absolutely nothing has been updated since then except for some new stores that don't seem to sell merchandise that one would expect to find in a mall.

My fiance and I visited during a rainy day to look for a white shirt for him at the anchor stores. Macy's honestly looks like it's going to closed in the near future with the lack of merchandise being sold. Dillards was honestly the best, but the flooring and fixtures were so old and ill kept that it looked like you were in the 80's. JCPenney was honestly the saddest sight to see as I love that store. It felt like the air conditioning system wasn't working as the air was heavy with humidity and a rather odd smell that I believe was mildew. It was impossible to look for clothes in there because everything was just piled on the fixtures with no apparent organization.

As for the rest of the mall? It has the potential to be a really nice mall. Fix the odor inside (again I feel like it was mildew), fix the AC system, fix the water damage on the ceiling, and just do routine cleaning. As for the stores? Aside from the anchor stores everything seems to relate to basketball, sneakers, off brand jewelry/electronics, and hood clothing.

Just celebrated my 4 years birthday party here yesterday and it was such a great experience and time everyone was talking about how it was amazing time. Theme was pajama party At Build A Bear So guest wore pjs and house shoes. Too much fun. Katie was our hostess and she was so fun for the kids, just excellent. Next took parents and kids to a carousel ride which adults are free when accompanied by a child while I was able to setup a birthday table in food court area. Villa pizza manager was soooo great very kind and helpful and I was really happy about the $10 pizzas when you purchase three deal. Food tasted great salad was fresh a pleasing to the eye. Free refill was also a plus. Not finished with complimenting staff because even the Cleanup Crew was excellent very kind and helpful. Throughout the party til it was time to leave they were right there to help with trash bins wiping down tables cleaning up floors.Five star service all away around at Wolfchase.
