Love this theater! It has a ton of screens so even when other theaters stop showing a movie. You can still catch it here to have that theater experience. They have a great selection at concessions and if you buy their cup each year. You get $3 sodas for the whole year. Yeah $3 for a medium soda at a theater! That's about the same as a gas station soda. Plus the wine and beer bar they have there. Means you are pretty much set. I like the mozzarella sticks and the pizza the best. Oh also they have a few arcade games if you arrive early or you need to kill time before the next movie starts if you go for a double feature. Also they really want you to have a good experience so if you have any issues they will make it right. I went to a spiderman movie but it was too scary for my young daughter. I didn't think about it much but mentioned it to one of the workers and they said to tell guest services. I told them and they with no problems gave me a free movie pass. It wasn't their fault my daughter was scared but like I said they really do want you to have a good experience. They also have special gear for those that need a little help with either hearing or seeing the movie. Just ask guess services. I saw them handing out these goggle looking things and asked. They told me about what they are used for. Also that they have special hours during the summer time for those that have difficulties with loud noises or don't like it completely dark they run the movies in certain theaters for them. Once they put in the reclining chairs. I guess the recliners are coming next year it will be the perfect place to have that theater experience. One negative and its probably because I am old. They don't give out the old movie tickets anymore now it's just a receipt with a QR code. I have many good experiences with...
Read moreWe have been to hundreds of movies at this location over the years. My daughter worked there for a year as well, so we have been very loyal to the Harkins Brands. I write this hoping it to be a one off, even though there have been minor, but tolerable issues before. Tonight we came to watch the new Justice League movie and while helpful, the front desk asked me if I wanted My Little Pony and i said no. I said the 840 of Justice League so perhaps she didn't hear me . No big deal, but we then got in to now stand in one of the 5 concession lines open, which had 6 to 7 people each log jammed into the area. The side bar was closed and they needed more lines open. I go to the theater, as marked in the ticket, and the movie was already playing??? It was only 8pm. The lady gave me tickets to a movie that started at 740. Who buys a movie ticket to miss the first 20 minutes. And yes we like previews. So we had to track down the other theater and walked in to the smallest theater with busted seats and a really bad smell. Plus there was no air or fan on, so the smell just lingered in the musty air. We will still continue to support but over the last 6 months, you can tell the difference from 2 years ago. AMC is upgrading their theaters, but it seems Harkins at this location is stuck in the past. We now do way more Roadhouse Cinema but will still come for quick movies. We love Harkins, but there is no more buzz or excitement when coming here anymore. Need to upgrade please. Oh and no more shirts for...
Read moreI recently visited after their reopening in September 2020. Unfortunately, I left my wallet in the theater after the movie. My reason for the 1 star review is because over 2 day I called 5 different times asking them to look for my wallet. I was certain that I left it there. Each time they assured me that it was not there and the the theaters are cleaned "thoroughly" after each movie. They told me that it was not possible that it was there and each time they told me they sent someone in to check the seats I was sitting in. On the second day of calling, I asked if I could go in a check for myself. My wallet was sitting in the seat exactly where I told them it would be. Not only were they lying to me about checking the seats, it shows that they are not following their policy of sanitizing the theater between showings. My wallet is much larger than COVID and they couldn't even clean that. I'm certain that they aren't sanitizing the theaters at all even at the start and end of the day. It was there for multiple days. Definitely don't leave anything at this theater and if you do, insist on checking yourself. They most certainly wont. I spoke to the manager Rios and he told me he would speak to the staff, but I doubt the staff will change. If you are deciding on which theater to visit, I'd move on...
