I had only gone shopping for a full suit one time and that was at Men's Warehouse for prom, and they had acted so condescendingly to me I felt very uncomfortable, so going into Pomeroy's to get outfitted for my mission to San Jose California, I had similar expectations, but I am so happy to say right from the start I was proven wrong, it could not have gone better. The staff was very friendly, very compensating and just overall top notch service. Being how they are THE missionary outfitters out there they knew exactly what I needed, gave me great insight as to what a missionary in my situation would need, and were very engaging. That and as a missionary they keep your clothing sizes on record to easily get replacements if something should happen to your clothes as well as a missionary discount, which is AMAZINGLY convenient. The guy who helped me, Curtis, is amazing and knows what he's doing, and made the process worry and stress free. Thank you Pomeroy's, for any dress clothing shopping or missionary needs in the future I will be...
Read moreI procrastinated on getting a suit for a wedding so I literally went to here about three days before the wedding to give them a try because I didn't want to go to a big warehouse and have too many options and spend an entire day there.
Curtis helped me pick everything I needed within maybe an hour! I'm talking, pants, shirt, tie, shoes, belt, and buckle! Too hot for a suit coat!
Best part is they went out of their way and hemmed and pressed my pants in a couple days.
One of their great options are the belts. They cut them to size! And the buckle is awesome! Different options and it's a rail adjusted belt so no holes on the belt.
I loved that they didn't push me to buy the most expensive options. I spent a good 240 total, but I would've probably paid half of that for just pants somewhere else.
Highly recommend them, and I'm doing my shopping here for many more events to...
Read moreEasily the worst shopping experience I've ever had. Employees are arrogant and cold. They would belittle me when I chose not to purchase an item that they recommended. It has never been more obvious to me that someone was paid on commission. A few days after my initial trip, I went back to return a few items and the employee who took care of me (if you can even call it that) refused to look me in the eyes during the whole transaction. He spoke no more than ten words. In addition: they hemmed all six pairs of pants that I had purchased incorrectly, their styles are terribly outdated, and their employees will flat-out lie to your face about their products. I will never return to Pomeroy's, nor will anyone to whom...
