Museum Plays was one of the most creative performances I have ever attended! How often can you watch six original, timely, thought provoking pieces while in a museum? Each small scene took place in a different gallery of the Rubell and the audience, divided into small groups, rotated through each, joining together for the finale.
The writing was excellent; the actors delivered each role very credibly; and while the Rubell collection provided context and inspiration, it was a reminder that one doesn’t need elaborate sets, props or costumes to create a memorable theater experience.
