WORST nail experience ever! Was in the salon for 3.5 hours and I came when they had only one other person in the shop who they finished with about 10 minutes after I arrived. Went in to get a full set and pedicure and it was not worth the money spent. Pedicure was ok but the white was more of a cream color. Literally got my nails done twice. The first person, John, rushed through my nails. I asked for ombrĂ© pink and white but you could see where the white was and the pink acrylic was not dark enough to blend seamlessly and the acrylic was so bumpy and thick. John cut way too deep into my cuticles and caused a couple of my fingers to bleed, which they also charged for. Watched him take his time with non people of color and their nails turned out great. I let them know I was not happy and John tried to blame it on my short nail beds. Sir that has nothing to do with your ability to put acrylic on a nail evenly and seamlessly. Another tech, Lyn, stepped in and tried to fix the nails. It was better than what John did but I was still charged for ombrĂ© when she used nail polish to make the acrylic darker and thinned out the nails a bit better. This was a horrible experience for me and they still charged me the full price and didnât even try to discount for the horrible experience. I donât see how they have this many...
Read moreMy first set was pretty bad (despite speaking up throughout my appointment) so I called the next day and they said to come in and they'll fix it. I asked for a builder gel extention without glue tips and he did tip extentions with glue and fiber gel even though they assured me it was a no glue manicure when I asked severally before even sitting down. Because I've only seen builder manis in video, I went along with it but I should have stopped the service when he pulled out the glue.
When I came in for the redo, Lynn took one look at my nails and had me sit down. She could see all the reasons for my dissatisfaction: polish on the cuticles, overly thick gel, inconsistent shaping. She addressed all the issues I had without me pointing them out. My nails now look almost perfect except there are a few bubbles in the lacquer (I told her I don't like three coats but she did three), she forgot a top coat on one of the nails, and cut me twice.
End result isn't horrible by any means, but it's not what I asked for. In any case it's much more beautiful and natural-looking than the first attempt and I don't grimace every time I look at my hands like I was doing before. I'd maybe go back, but...
Read moreSent my friends here this evening for some pampering and it was the worst and most shocking experience. From being forced to having their nails redone despite saying they were satisfied with the first attempt to burning my friends underarm with a mixture of hot and cold wax after asking my friend which wax she should use for an underarm wax. The prices magically went up when the girls went to the front to pay and to top it all off the receptionist Lee, I believe, chased my girls down the street and forced them to leave a review which lead to Lee grabbing their phones and writing her own review rating herself 5 stars. I have attached photos of the âfaded frenchâ nails that was done on the second attempt.
THIS IS A WARNING THAT YOU SHOULD NOT FALL FOR THE 5 STAR REVIEWS THAT ARE WRITTEN BY THE...
