Overall, a decepointed experience. The milanesa taste good, but is really thin and over cooked and really hard to cut even with a sharp knife. The fried eggs tasted like plastic, noticing the cheap quality of the product. The staff at the front doesn't seem to know the difference between a baked sweet potato and a fried sweet potato, or at least this is how these ones looked and tasted like. The empanadas are not really good, they are average taste and small, specially the meat one with "entraña" they try to sell as chef specialty, overcharging you for something that simply doesn't keep up with expectations considering the price. The tortilla de papa is thin and really small portion considering the price too.
Forgot to take pics of the empanadas, but here are the pics for the milanesa and tortilla with my hand as comparison. Hope this help you do things better next time. I understand times are difficult now, and I would be pleased to pay more for quality; just this place doesn't seem to have that from...
Read moreThe place is ok. However, after going there for breakfast and lunch with my 90-year old mom, I realized just how rude and incompetent the manager and one of the waitresses was. Too bad because my mother, as an Argentinean, actually liked the little joint. They took too long to serve us. They refused to give us bread (and mom was hungry and in need of any food because of the heat) and I even overheard the manager behind the counter asking there waitress "if they are not going to order appetizers, then why am I going to give them bread." Outrageous behavior. We love two of the waiters and one awesome waitress (with tattoos) because they connected with all of us. But the one from Spain and the manager behind the counter, well they can keep their rude attitude and not worry about us returning. Baires is just across the street, has far more style and selection. When they go broke and someone else takes over, we may return. Meanwhile, best of luck with...
Read moreI came yesterday with my friend for dinner and the waitresses took extremely long to get our order and were giving us attitude by rolling their eyes at us anytime we asked for something. They made us feel obviously not accepted there but were very nice to the other customers who happen to be Argentinian, unlike us. We decided to leave once we got our food because we did not want to stay in this place where the workers are making us feel like a nuisance. This is so embarrassing on behalf of the restaurant to employ workers like this as well as the rude manager who also gave us attitude for no reason. It seems that some people enjoy this place but I will never come back here because the food was ok and the service was worse. On top of that, the workers still asked for a tip after everything they've said to us and made a rude remark to my friend...
