This is either a business started last month by friends or a failing one. There is no customer service, sense of instruction or follow through. I booked this experience a week before, Viator charged my card two days prior to the booking. It was not until the morning of that I received a link to the license required to ride. Who wants to take a test on vacation? I had also been contacted to come at a later time, since they were having boat issues. Having to rearrange my day, nothing was offered for this inconvenience. After a new time was agreed on, someone named âLuisâ had the poor customer service to tell me âdonât be lateâ. 30 minutes prior to the booking a finally received parking instruction. I could see several business operated out of the same marina, it was another bad sign when I saw this company had the least desirable boats/ equipment. Literally had back yard furniture on a decaying boat. The jet skis are also not photo friendly, which is why I passed on their âphoto packageâ. Which is sent to you through Whatsapp apparently. This is not a âprivate excursionâ, you are ONLY able to ride in one giant middle area. The secondary payment options were also hidden until the day of. Everything about this experience screams side hustle, from the poor equipment down to the woman telling me âwe need to do businessâ after she forgot to grab my cash and the photo person saying âokay okay I will sell you the photos for $10 less final offerâ. The cherry on top was the boat breaking down after riding. We were stranded in the water for close to an hour. Further impacting my planned reservations. One of the representatives promised us they would contact us for compensation. Been getting the run around for close to a week now. Do not use this failing...
   Read moreSCAM- If I could give 0 stars, I would. The reservation we made was originally at 1:00pm. I got a text message that we were pushed back until 3:00pm. We complied with the time change and thought "oh well, stuff happens." We got another text message at 2:45pm saying that we they were running late and best to get there around 3:15pm. We arrived promptly at 3:15pm. It was near impossible to find the destination they provided (5400 Collins Ave). Then we waited.... and waited.... and waited. At 3:45 we were frustrated, sweaty, and we kept being told, "Oh we are 10 minutes out. The captain, Mike, is on the way and should be calling you." Which he did and kept saying that he was super close, almost there... and then as we were about to leave a whole hour later at 4:15pm, he arrived. And when I tell you EVERYTHING about this situation screamed scam/unsafe. I looked at my 6'5 boyfriend and I said, "I am not getting on that boat. Something doesn't feel right in my gut." The reason I am giving them.3 stars is the communication piece and the timing it took before you get to the jet skies. Now I went on viator to book and jumped for joy when I saw a rental for $35. I was in a hurry to book because 530pm. was the last slot for the day. They cleverly disclose the remaining $95 fee for rental and the amount you just paid was for a reservation fee in the body of paragraph under overview. So my fault for rushing and not reading. However why try to hide your real charges? As the travel agent i only make money off what the customer shows to have paid online not by what they cashed app you or gave you cash for. Next, thinking I had no time to change, the website didn't state which pier so I had to wait until that was texted to me. Then we had to sign disclosures once every got there.
