WAS NEVER SERVED THE FOOD I PAID FOR. I Attended an Special Event in the back room at BEYBEY on June 29th and upon arrival was provided a menu to order from. I ordered a simple sandwich and was forced by the server to pay for IN ADVANCE of receiving my order. However, MY ORDER WAS NEVER SERVED TO ME. Throughout the entirety of the event I asked politely at least 4 times if my order would be coming out soon, each time they said they would check on it... but after the 3 hour event ended, I STILL had not received a single morsel of food. The server I ordered from was no longer on site so I asked the next server to refund my order since I was leaving STARVING after HOURS of being ignored. She informed me that they were 'too busy' to refund me on the spot, but that she would write down my name and contact info to run the reversal with a a manager when things died down. In frustration, I left to find a restaurant that would be willing to serve me food. I NEVER received a refund for the items I paid for or the TIP I paid that horrible server in advance. I called several times over the next weeks to speak with a manager about the situation and was sent to a voicemail box each time. No one EVER called me back to make it right. I waited more than 30 days for my refund which I never received. After multiple attempts to settle the issue with the merchant, I was forced to file a dispute with my credit card company, at which point BEYBEY had the audacity to argue the reversal by providing the credit company my receipt with signature claiming I was served and paid for my food. I WAS FORCED TO PAY IN ADVANCE AND WAS NEVER SERVED A SINGLE BITE OF FOOD AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. Absolutely zero attempt by staff or management to refund me or make it right. I have never been scammed this way by a restaurant in my entire life. Wish I could comment on the food, but I never got a chance to try it. Just came there to have my money stolen and leave starving. BEY BEY is the WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE I...
Read moreEvery dish was perfectly curated on the new menu at beybey! Our group of 4 feasted family style on about half of the menu options and will be back soon to try the other half. We started with the manâoushe truffle, zucchini tempura, and Hokkaido scallop crudo which were all tasty. I was pleasantly surprised that the manâoushe truffle was my favorite as flatbreads typically arenât my go-to but this was a really cool Mediterranean blend of flavors on a perfectly doughy pita. Then we dug into roasted carrots, batata hara, and cauliflower all which paired nicely with the fish and short rib. Donât be fooled by the simplistic look of the fish, it was packed with flavor and crisp on the outside until you bite into the juicy flakes of the meat. The short rib was really tender and savory with a touch of yuzu sweetness. Despite being full we couldnât help but ordering the lebneh cheesecake and beybey bar to top off the meal and they did not disappoint. The cheesecake was phenomenal, especially with the pecan crunch which added some texture to the yogurt based cake. And the crunchy bar was chocolately goodness without crossing the line into being overly sweet or bitter. Overall would highly recommend checking out this spot if youâre in the area, but make sure you secure a reservation since the dining area only holds a finite...
Read moreBeyBey, more like BooBoo! If you enjoy being judged and âacceptedâ by a self-proclaimed bold âmanagerâ in a tacky sleeveless denim suit, then this is the place for you. Despite me and girlfriendâs elegant style and membership at exclusive clubs like Casa Cipriani, Aman, and etc, we were denied entry to the "Room with a DJ" because Mr. Denim didn't like our vibe. He offered us to take a look at this room without stepping in. Meanwhile, he welcomed in a horde of underaged looking kids dressed like they raided a discount hip hop store.
Thinking we could salvage the night with a drink, we ordered margaritas that were more watered down than a kiddie pool. And don't even get me started on the bartender's attitude â he practically demanded our change as a tip without asking if we want our change back!
Save yourself the trouble and avoid this wannabe âhotspotâ at all costs. Trust me, you'll...
