If you are ever in need of having your phone repaired in a South Florida area this location is worth the drive! After visiting another UbreakiFix location in Fort Lauderdale and another chain phone repair shop, I about gave up on the idea of my phone being repaired and recovering my important information. My phone screen went black one night after It had been working perfectly fine all day and would not turn back on. The notifications would come through, it would connect to my Bluetooth and notifications kept buzzing in but The screen remained black. The other UbreakiFix told me they tried to replace it with two screens and were unable to get the screen to turn on while the other repair shop told me there was something wrong with the motherboard and it needed a part replaced. When I explained the issue to Carlos and what the other repair stores advised, he immediately took it in back had the phone looked over and advised they put a screen on the phone and it worked perfectly fine. The cost was supposed to be $295 for the part and labor, which I tried to file a claim through Google Preferred insurance and was not accepted after going back and forth with them for 5 days with updates on what was actually going on with the phone. I finally sucked it up and took it back into this location and let Carlos know I was just going pay out of pocket for the repair. At the time we did not believe the phone was under warranty based on information previously advised to me by the other location. After looking over for my phone and seeing it had normal wear and tear in addition to checking in the system, he advised the phone was in fact under warranty and wouldn't have to pay a penny to get it fixed! Within two and a half hours I had my phone back in my hand working perfectly fine like new! Apparently the only issue was that the screen was disconnected! I am beyond grateful and appreciative of the diligence and integrity of this store. If not for them I would have been down almost $300 for a simple issue that any competent technician could diagnose....
Read moreGot my cracked phone screen fixed on Saturday, 2/3/24 through assurant insurance claim. today, 2/5/24, a green line developed along the right side of the phone across the full length of the screen.
Took it back to the store to get it "fixed" again after a day and half use, to be met by the store reception Carlos denying the warranty. Even after inspecting the phone and stating no visible external fall damage. He started pressing on the screen along the phone and I noticed the screen would buckle under his finger/wiggle. Went to the back room to speak to his coworker/manager to then later return and claim the store would not honor their work. Since it's was an insurance claim, I would need to file another insurance claim for them to fix my phone again. Had I paid cash, no question asked they would have fixed it...
Called assurant to file a new claim to get the phone fixed and the rep was shocked by what I was telling him, claiming I did not need to file a new claim and that he would straighten this out. After a few min he escalated the case to his upper. The rep then ordered me a replacement phone that I'm currently waiting on since the store refused service. Personally I'm happy to receive a new phone out of this as I would not trust any further repairs done by a store that doesn't stand behind their work.
Clearly they used a defective screen or poor workmanship failing to properly set the screen.
Should I need to repair any other devices I'll be driving further to another store or just except a replacement through the insurance from...

The owner and manager were not in, but he assured me he would have them call me the very next day. Guess what they did. I spoke to David and Blasiel and they assured me this was not a taught or tolerated practice. He also assured me that they are dealing with Naila accordingly. They were kind, quick to act, professional, and took ownership of the issue. My faith in Ubreakifix has been restored. I wish the young lady well. She would have only had to ask. Prayerfully, this is a lesson learned. Also, note that to fix your screen, they DO NOT need your passcode.
Now, I would have rated you all 5 stars because Naila was speedy and professional. However, now I am giving you a 1-star review!!! I do not appreciate you using my phone to write your own 5-star review, which has wholly soured what was a good experience. This is highly unprofessional and dishonest! I hope this is not a company-wide practice, training your technicians to use your customers' phones to write their own 5-star reviews. HOW DARE YOU???? Now I am questioning what else you may have done while you had my phone! If my identity is compromised or my money is stolen, we will have significant problems!!!
THIS IS WHAT THEY WROTE, NOT ME! My technician Naila was very speedy in repairing my screen, had the phone done in less than 30 minutes, amazing...
