This is what I will say about this place While the massages may accomplish what they set out to do post surgery, they are painful and rushed by virtue of the short time given to each client. After surgery, there is already so much pain that you deal with , the massages should not amplify that pain, even if they ultimately provide relief. Massages should be done with plenty of time, but this place is almost an assembly line of post-surgery massage
While my masseuse herself was kind and professional, the desk clerk was HORRIBLE to me. I am transgender and made that known beforeI booked any post surgery massages. I have no intention or desire to entter a space I am not welcome in. My surgery was on a thursday, so my first massages were Fri-Sun, and the desk attendant (I am unsure what her formal position is) was not in the office those days. On monday, after my massage, while I was chatting with the other clients in the waiting room she loudly called me over, misgendered me, and after I corrected her and told her I was trans and had notified everyone and had no issues up to that point, she proceeded to humiliate me, call me a "man" and kept repeating phrases like
"well I just didnt know ... I couldn't tell before" "I'm not judging you ... I dont care what people like you do"
She told me I would have to be charged the men's rate and proceeded to make rude comments about not judging me or my "lifestyle"
I told her I notified everyone involved that I was trans, and left after being humiliated to the degree that other women there who I would see at my surgeon's office (Dr Mendieta) brought it up and were appalled at her behavior.
Ultimately, this turned out to be a blessing, as I found another massage center that took they're time, the massages were far less painful, and the general level of care and advising me through the healing process was far better.
KG Body Image will technically get the job done, but you can find better, more caring and affordable massages elsewhere. If you look at my other reviews you can see where I ended up going, which I highly recommend.
The discrimination I experienced here was unwarranted and disgusting .... luckily it led me to a far better massage experience elsewhere. If you were referred by a doctor, just know there are better options and that massages dont have to be horribly painful 20-30 minute attacks on your...
Read moreSo very grateful that my friend/nurse referred me to KG! When she heard I was going to a different place here in Miami she cringed, and told me about KG. The owner, as well as all of the therapists are amazing! Knowledgeable, empathetic, and encouraging. The techniques as well as the amount of equipment and tools they have are top-notch. They are patient and put in a lot of time and effort for each client.
Most clients are there after lipo 360 as well as other procedures and we're freaked out by what we just put ourselves through. Lipo 360 is painful to recover from and if you don't have caring, but firm therapists like at KG, you won't heal properly. The other place I tried in Miami, they seemed afraid to touch you and give you the treatment you really need after Sx. Not the women at KG! They give you tough love and excellent care. I am able to ask questions and learn a great deal from their experience.
I have been going for seven months now--I had extensive surgery and I am blessed to have access to KG. There are some clients who drive down weekly from Orlando, others that fly in from other states and even other countries! I have not been the most disciplined about wearing my faja so I still have some swelling that is taking longer to go down than if I wore my faja 16 hours a day.
There have been a few front desk staff changes over this time, I first started with a young girl who left to go back to college full-time. The woman after her I only saw once or twice and I found out she was let go because of poor customer service. The girl who took her place has been great. The majority of KG clients are women but I noticed more men have started to come in for treatments.
Yes, the massages are NOT your "so relaxing I fell asleep" massages. They can't be! Liposuction is a unique procedure and wow! Does it take dedication to heal properly! But the alternative is to let all that money and time go to waste. As my swelling goes down, we're working on my abdominal etching.
I chose to heal more slowly because fajas make me claustrophobic...I would also literally miss the KG girls if I weren't still going monthly! They all know me by name and seem genuinely happy to see me. Thank...
Read moreHey girls I recommend this place 10000% first it’s a clean place super cute where they make me feel comfortable from the first moment since I say hello to the reception young lady who’s a sweetheart . I came all the way from North Carolina, I got my surgery at seduction cosmetic center ( bbl/lipo 360/vaser) with doctor NAIR. I don’t agree with do my massages in the same place I do my surgery bc I don’t feel it professional the lady who give my complementary first massage . I found about in Instagram, since her Instagram look so professional, AND came here to KG BODY SOLUTIONS very swelling but today after 7 massages I have to came back home. But very much less big and less swelling. All the therapist here have a good hand and a nice actitud ❤️ the place is super aesthetic I love it. And the more important they know what they doing and with the techniques they apply it’s less traumatic the whole process. and you don’t get super hurt like another places. Don’t forget ask they for the next stage faja they got all sizes. I wish you all the best with your new body. I hope...
