My family and I convinced a friend to go to Tutto Pasta for dinner but unfortunately, we had the most humiliating experience in a Miami restaurant. My friend brought her service dog (not an emotional support dog, an ACTUAL SERVICE DOG) and we waited for the hostess to be seated (there were several empty tables). When the hostess finally came, she immediately frowned upon the dog and rudely stated “you have to sit outside” in a very unfriendly manner. We alerted her the tables outside were wet because it had been raining and that it was very hot outside. Again, she looked at my friend’s service dog with utter disgust. When we realized the issue was the dog, we tried clarifying to her that the schnauzer (mid-sized dog) was a service dog an not an emotional support dog. Meaning: you can’t ban a service dog from entering anywhere. To which she replied: “we don’t accept THIS TYPE of service dog”. My friend asked her if she needed to see the dog’s ID card but she wasn’t interested. If we had told her our friend’s condition, she’d probably understand that service dogs aren’t solely for the blind as a lot of ignorant people think. But no one should be forced to disclose their medical history to a restaurant hostess when a dog has all the paperwork to prove it’s a service dog. Shame on TUTTO PASTA and the people they carelessly hire. This woman could never have been hired to work with the public, she’s more suited for a job that doesn’t deal with people. The blessing in disguise in the story was: we left the restaurant very upset and looked for another Italian restaurant in the area. To our luck, just 2 miles away we found the BEST Italian restaurant we’ve ever eaten in Miami: PONTE VECCHIO. What a difference! The hostess saw that we were accompanied by a service dog and she was sweet and welcoming. She told us how it was a family restaurant and how she hoped we enjoyed our meal. The food and the service were a million times better than Tutto Pasta’s. I’m going to make an entire review on their amazing food and service. For now, I’d just leave you with this tip: for great Italian food in the Brickell/ Coral way area, avoid being offended and humiliated, go to Ponte Vecchio: superb service, pasta...
Read moreToday was a very special day for our family as our youngest son graduated from high school. We hosted a lunch for 23 guests that was absolutely perfect. We were able to decorate and customize the space for the lunch with balloons, linens, printed menus, and flowers. The food was DELICIOUS !!! The family style appetizers were a hit - everyone raved but most importantly they ate everything and commented on the flavors and freshness. Our guests had a choice of 3 main courses - and all of them were equally amazing. There was not one plate with food left over. The homemade desserts were also super yummy and they were gracious to serve the graduation cake that we brought that my son requested. The staff and culinary team were also very attentive and provided our guests with wonderful service. It felt as if we had hosted this lunch at our home. They made us all feel welcomed and appreciated. Thank you TUTTO PASTA for your lovely cuisine and...
Read moreDefinitely not a place to recommend! It was my wife's anniversary and we reserved a table for our party. Everything was almost as expected, the food, the ambience but not the service. We had an extremely unpleasant service by the floor manager of the night. There was a misunderstanding over an order and we were forced to accept the order they got wrong. This type of behaviour would not occur if she was professional and focused on the client. She was extremely rude, totally inappropriate and destroyed the dinner party by creating a sense of discomfort in all the guests. You can go and have an extraordinary experience, as we had before, or have your dinner completely wrecked by an...
