I decided to visit this park because it was within walking distance down the street from my hotel in the Brickell neighborhood of Miami. It's a great natural oasis from the hustle and bustle of the urban sprawl. Yes, you can still hear jack hammers, car horns, and the Brickell station metrorail in the background, but this is a great place to relax, read a book next to the koi pond that's located in the park.
