Despite my reason for needing to be in attendance at this courthouse, I have been a resident of Cape May County NJ for the greater majority of my life. The entrance for all needs is now located in the back rear, which has no visitors parking unless you have a handicap tag. The building is 100% handicap accessible. The court employees in the FM FD areas are very helpful, but you must go IN PERSON to get the best assistance. Cape may County social services, Court House officials, and other assistance that serves the community have always maintained a significantly greater positive impact and are much more helpful than any other County agencies I have delt with. I truly believe that the larger amount if resources available for a smaller population County wide make receiving the assistance you need whether it's SNAP/LEIHP/TANF/VOCATIONAL SERVICES/COURT HOUSE ISSUES you have access to much better 1:1 help than ANY other County, or state/federal necessities...

I have had to call on a few occasions but they don't answer & there is no vm letting the caller know if they are even in the office. I got a call back a week AFTER we had to go to court and our hearing was delayed, so we didn't even have to go at all! It would have been nice to receive a phone call BEFORE the hearing. Nor know when it is their turn.
