I have been frequenting this store for years and apparently it is under new management. Used to love their selection of chicken wings and salads at the deli there. Today I met two workers who didn't have a clue. Asked if the honey wings were fresh which a young man named Abraham acknowledged they were and I purchased a little over a pound of them. I also purchased some tortellini salad and as he weighed it i noticed it was full of oil and wasn't strained. I had to tell him twice to drain the oil and re-weigh it. As I got home looking forward to having the honey wings my family and I used to enjoy. I found they were hard and appear old like they actually had been sitting out for quite some time. For a supermarket that charges corner convenience store prices. Which I was willing I over look to occasionally have their wings this trip there has been disappointing. Store used to have a neighborhood feel which it no longer has. Some change I enjoy but the change of ownership here at keyfood is disappointing. Flavorless old hard wings, deli staff that attempt to weigh down your salad with oil. Have the nerve to attempt to sell groceries well above their neighborhood competitors and wonder why you are hemorrhaging customers? You lost another one today. Bring back the youngsters from the neighborhood who had vested interest and pride in their work...
Read moreWent to this store to buy Cooked Chicken Wings. They used to be very good under old ownership. This time I asked the person serving us if the wings were old, and she stated that they were fresh. Well, I purchased several pounds of them to get home (30-Min drive) to find out they were old and hard as a rock. Total waste of money and time! I called back to the store to complain about them and get a refund but had to go back with the receipt to get a refund which they were happy to do. The only problem is that one of my dinner guests broke his denture on the wings because they were so hard. Owner refused to acknowledge his responsibility for selling old garbage food. Which seems to be the norm for this location. Read other reviews on out-dated food being sold. Now, I was trying to be polite, but I am forced to proceed through the courts on a small claims matter. Dentures are expensive, and this is the problem with the law in Pennsylvania and product responsibility. Not to mention NO MILFORD PA ATTORNEY'S WOULD DARE CHALLENGE A LOCAL BUSINESS. I did manage to find an Attorney OUT OF STATE that took the case and well Mr. Key Foods, I will see you in Court! Stay away from this location because it has a reputation of bad food and selling old,...
Read moreEdit: I'm disgusted and nauseous. What a disgrace the women's bathroom is, and right behind the deli counter! I wouldn't ever eat anything not factory packaged from this store. The big round toilet paper rolls are laying on the foul, filthy floor. Like we're all animals. Someone complained and they sent in a kid to put them on the roller. But it's still wiping with paper that was on the floor. If you look into the big floor drain that's in the stall with you, you'll PUKE. A dozen Tampon applicators in there. This bathroom has not been cleaned since the business changed hands. The management has ignored complaints from both customers and staff. Maybe they need to be publicly called out........ (Original review:They have a good stock of special things. Where else around here can you pick up a jar of thai chili paste, real cheese,Russian goodies, various breads and a...
