During my recent visit to Connecticut Post Mall, I had the chance to check out the food court, and I was definitely impressed by the variety and quality of the offerings! Whether you’re in the mood for a quick bite or something a little more adventurous, this food court has something for everyone.
The Food Court Experience: The food court itself is clean, spacious, and well-organized. It has a really nice vibe—bright, modern, and very easy to navigate. There’s plenty of seating, which is especially nice during busy times. The seating areas are well-maintained, with a good mix of booths and tables, and the mall staff does a great job keeping the place tidy, even when it gets crowded.
There’s an impressive range of food options here, from familiar fast-food chains to more unique choices. Whether you’re craving burgers, pizza, Asian cuisine, or just a snack, you won’t leave hungry. The best part? Most of the food is reasonably priced, making it a solid option for families, groups, or anyone looking for a good meal while out shopping.
Little Tokyo – A Hidden Gem! One of the standout spots in the food court has to be Little Tokyo. If you’re a fan of Japanese food, this is a must-try. They offer a range of delicious dishes, from fresh sushi rolls to comforting bento boxes. I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Bento, and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was tender and perfectly glazed with a savory teriyaki sauce, and the rice was fluffy and well-cooked. The portion size was generous, and I could tell everything was made with fresh ingredients. The sushi options looked great too, and the colorful rolls caught my eye. If you’re in the mood for something light and flavorful, their sushi is a great option!
What I love about Little Tokyo is that it doesn’t just focus on the typical fast-food approach. The quality of the food feels more like something you’d get at a sit-down restaurant, but without the wait. Their prices are also reasonable for the quality of the food you’re getting, which makes it a solid choice for lunch or dinner.
Overall Thoughts: Overall, the Connecticut Post Mall Food Court is a great spot for grabbing a bite while shopping or just taking a quick break. You can find everything from comfort food to fresh and flavorful dishes, and it’s nice that they offer both quick options and sit-down quality meals. Little Tokyo stands out as a personal favorite—if you’re craving something fresh and tasty, you can’t go wrong here.
I definitely recommend making a stop if you’re in the area. The variety, convenience, and quality make this food court an excellent option whether you're on the go or want to relax and enjoy your meal. I’ll certainly be back for more of that chicken...

This has the distinction of being the 'biggest mall' in Connecticut, but it certainly doesn't mean it's the best or all that great - whether it's in Connecticut or not.
From the outside, it looks huge because it is. Once inside however, it's not as spacious as you'd think. I've been to smaller malls where there was more walking space than here.
It's 2 floors with a partial 3rd floor for Macy's. A decent walk if you want to go from one side to the other. One area in the lower floor looked a little dark and nearly abandoned.
The mall has plenty of business including basic mall fixtures like Spencer's and Hot Topic. The directory of businesses has fairly good variety. The food court is typical, but some decent options (not talking about Sbarro either). There's 4 restaurants, including a Dave & Busters. A movie theater, CVS, and even an escape room add to the variety.
But driving to and from here, the general shopping district on the roads surrounding the mall were more impressive and had all you could ever want, from food to material things. I'd personally rather shop in the stores on the street coming to and from the mall than the mall itself. It's a busy area generally as well and a good shopping district. One of the better stretches of shopping options I've ever been seen geographically.
Parking lot is not that good and in some areas, poorly designed. Clearly the spots closest to the mall were filled, but there is enough spaces in general unless it's a holiday. Just use caution, because pedestrian walkways are all over the place and some don't follow the signage.
Overall the mall is......okay, but nothing special. Not remotely close to other and better (and even smaller) malls. If a mall is good, I'd drive a little further to go there. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here again and likely never will. Even the 'high end' Danbury Mall is preferable. Worth checking out if you've never been, but keep expectations a little lower...
Read moreI've been to this mall many times over the course of 20 years and it's very obvious that all the recent reviews were either paid for, or fake, and I'm going to check with Google about reporting this.
They're all very recent and very dishonest in my view.
This mall is generally very very filthy. The bathroom smells so bad it's hard to walk in there without becoming ill. I'm almost positive they never clean them and it's a public health concern. There's layers of bodily fluid on the floor, that they probably never cleaned up properly for decades.
The escalators in this mall have been broken for about 5 to 10 years. They never work, and in order to go up and down the floors you have to walk around the entire mall.
There's very few interesting destinations in this mall except the movie theater, David and Buster's and 8,000 Pizza, that's really it.
If you're looking for a mall to visit, there's plenty of other malls in Connecticut, I'd skip this one.
Update: Looking at the reviews and the accounts they came from, it appears the owner of this mall paid a bot farm to leave positive reviews.
RESPONSE TO OWNER:
If I have any feedback? Kelly, did you even read my review? I left feedback. Are the bathrooms sanitized now? Have you been in the men's room after closing to inspect it? How often do you inspect your property. Why don't you inspect the mall yourself and make your own judgement? Do you think decades of layered urine on the floor and smells so bad, they compel you to instantaneously vomit are appealing?
Is the escalator fixed, and will it be fixed for the long term?
You're either a clearly detached leader, a very unempathetic one, or an unqualified one. Did you read my feedback before asking for feedback, and have you investigated or solved any of those issues?
Or were you looking to pay me to remove my review?
Which?
When I have time I will add photographs
I audited your reviews again. If you continue to pay for fake reviews, I will escalate further...
