At 70 years old, I have suffered homelessness in Milford for almost 10 YEARS now. Every year I attempt to become a member of the senior center. I am always denied and told "you do not have a residential address." This is in violation of the 2013 CT Homeless Bill of Rights signed into law by Gov. Malloy which states: "No homeless individuals may be discriminated against ...." Ya, right! Lately, someone has been stealing my frozen 1 gallon water bottles which I need to keep from dying from the summer heatwaves. 5 times in a row now!! UPDATE: Make that 6 times!!
