I had high expectations for this med spa, but unfortunately, my experience has been so disappointing. Initially, I sought a second opinion regarding lip filler migration after another nurse expressed concerns. I was reassured that as long as I stayed within 3 syringes, there would be no issues. I only wanted 1 syringe so this wasn’t of concern.
I encountered several inconsistencies in the staff’s understanding of their policies. I was told I could purchase a full syringe and return for the remainder, but later informed that I could only use it for symmetry issues within 30 days, a policy I was unaware of prior to my appointment. The practitioner told me that she had to work slow in order to make sure I don’t migrate more so I found this very unfair with the policy since I’m not allowed to use the remainder I purchased and can’t purchase half a syringe at a time.
Despite my concerns about the product she wanted to use since it didn’t work for me initially, I trusted the practitioner’s recommendation to use it again. After my appointment, I regretted not using the entire syringe and called immediately. What was weird is that when I was checking out I was told by Lexi that I could absolutely come back to use the remaining part of the syringe and that’s when the practitioner ran out and told her that that is no longer a policy of theirs. That’s when they told me over the phone 15 minutes after my appointment that there is no way to honor what I was told and that id have to buy another syringe. She told me I couldn’t do that until 30 days after but the policy states you only have 30 to come back to discuss using remaining filler if there is cosmetic concerns ?
When getting filler done you have to space out time for swelling so considering that they only give you 30 days to come back and expect your schedule to align with that when the practitioner didn’t give you results that were discussed is ridiculous. Very odd considering how that’s a policy but that I had to wait to buy another one after 30 days.
After purchasing a second syringe at $500, my results were again unsatisfactory—uneven lips and fullness. When I attempted to schedule a follow-up, I had to reschedule due to illness and faced further complications with the appointment. I was told once again that since rescheduling after they couldn’t accommodate me that I could not use the remaining product I had already for a second time paid for.
While the staff is friendly, the lack of consistent communication and professionalism is concerning. I now find myself out $1,000 and having to seek services elsewhere, where policies are clearer and customer satisfaction is a priority. To say that I’m frustrated and disappointed is an understatement. Evolve Med Spa has changed our agreed-upon terms and price of the Line Tamer membership. The agreement that I signed when I first purchased the membership stated that I would receive unlimited Jeuveau for $99 per month. Last week, I was told by the Short Hills manager that this agreement would no longer be honored and that I was being limited to a “less expensive” number of units per treatment. I was receiving 76 and they will now only give me 64. They then mentioned that the extra 4 touch-up units aren’t covered unless it’s lower than the recommended. This was not what I agreed to upon signing my contract for the membership.
Additionally, it was explained that the monthly fee would be increased from $99 per month to $125 per month.
Understanding that their organization lacks fundamental business acumen and didn’t forecast the impact this deal could have on their revenues, it is completely unacceptable to change the terms of the agreement - which I never agreed to or signed another contract.
To unilaterally change the price undermines the trust and reliability that their customers expect from their business. Such actions are not only unprofessional, but also reflect poorly on their commitment to customer service.

Read moreI understand the 5 star reviews that Evolve Med Spa Short Hills. As someone new to aesthetics, I was initially apprehensive about the experience. I felt a bit green to be inquiring about inquiring about injectables that I was worried about being taken seriously. (Should note - and not that it should matter - but I am a woman of color and had apprehensions to that end as well!)
I had attended one of their events and received a consultation on the spot - we had a candid conversation about some of the treatments I had been interested in, spoke to the different providers (all previous clinicians and extremely qualified, per our conversations) and received a wealth of information from the team. Dawn and Stephanie in particular were absolutely professional, kind and discreet. I did not feel pressured or "pitched to" over the course of my 3-4 visits with the team which is very much appreciated. In fact, Dawn had recommended holding off on some treatments I had inquired about and suggested alternatives that would better suit my stage and desired results.
Stephanie was patient, informative and explained every step of my CoolScuplting treatments along with best practices for maintenance and results, which I appreciated. She was gentle, careful and absolutely professional.
