Aldi is a magnificent place to shop for groceries! It's just the right size store to carry a large variety of items but not so big you feel overwhelmed trying to find things. The prices are nearly half the cost you pay at any other grocery store, even Wal-mart. Especially the meat, no matter what type you're buying it's affordable. From steak to burger, poultry, seafood or pork the price is half what you pay in other grocery stores. When they have sales it's almost unbelievable all you can get for minimum costs. After I shop there I feel like I didn't get charged for all my items because the price is so low. I used to cringe when I had to grocery shop. While I love Aldi I absolutely hated it when it came time to ringing everything up because inevitably the line would be all the way to the back of the store with one cashier. Sometimes they'd put an additional cashier on a register when the line was long but the wait was excruciating, especially at those times I ran in for one or two things. A lot of times I'd go somewhere else and pay the higher price just to avoid the lines but No More Waiting Now!!! They added about eight self-checkout's so there is never a wait. Ever! It's wonderful! In, out, done and home before ya know it! Hurrraaayyy! Kudos Aldis! The stores are always clean. You can always see the employees hard at work but no matter what they're doing they are always friendly, polite and helpful. I really like that you use a quarter to get a shopping cart which is returned when you take the cart back. Never have to worry about cart dings to your car at Aldi! Over-all Aldi gets 5 stars in my book. Large variety, great prices, no waiting in line to pay, no cart dings to your car and friendly,...
Read moreAlways loved aldis. Usually have amazing service. Today unfortunately i think we caught our cashier on a bad day. Or i at least sort of hope it was a bad day. Other wise her attitude was sorely out of place and dissapointing. The orginal cashier had 4 carts in her line waiting. So make that 5 customers in her line. So our cashier gets called up and we pull up behind some gentleman finishing their transaction.partner and i both say hi and get not even a glance .She just starts ringing our stuff. A lady behind us asked politely if this line was open or closed (there was a sign with closed, but we were in line unloading the cart) the cashier did not reply or seem to hear her. So I kindly told her it was open...and the cashier looked at me kinda of orritated. Ok my bad. I can be overly helpful which ends up not always being helpful. I get that . she said actually i was closed. And i said oh my i apologize. She nodded . Finish paying and swing full cart over to my partner at the loading wall. He didnt hear that cashier needed the cart. She didnt realize I was still watching her but she was looking completely shocked and flabbergasted that he didnt seem to have heard her and that she needed a cart. So I went over and took our baby off the old cart as my partner is bagging the new cart. She's trying to help him unload the full cart on the shelf so she can have a cart while i am giving her our old cart. The tension was so tight I was completely uncomfortable. We are always so kind to our cashiers as we have been them as well. Its understandable that people have bad days. And i really hope if it was just a bad day that she is much...
Read moreAldi is 1 of our favorite grocery stores no matter in which U.S. state we are. This location has really good produce and meat. They keep these areas well-stocked at all times. Aldi stores are usually not large which means that choices are limited and there are not a lot of brand names. The products that offer are usually excellent. We love the weekly specials which also include household items, clothing, toys, tools, gardening supplies,... You also find a lot of German cuisine and products at Aldi, because that is where the company originated. Most products are a lot cheaper than in other grocery stores. You can check that out on their website. There is a washroom for shoppers inside the building and parking is free. You have to put a quarter in your shopping cart, but you'll get that back once you return the cart to the stall. This saves on staff that has to go collect the carts on the parking lot. Less staff means cheaper products for you! This store is easy to spot...
