What would have been a 5 star review quickly turned into a 1 star review after what I just experienced here and learned that the staff are rude and unprofessional. I have been a customer for the last 3 years and first of all, all of the reviews about the staff wearing AirPods and rushing pedicures is 100% true, I never fully minded it because I don’t enjoy the small talk anyways. I went in 4 days ago to get a full set of acrylic nails. First thing was the girl doing my nails who is younger (and the one who always wears AirPods) coughed into her hand and began touching my hands which made me uncomfortable at the start, and continued coughing with her mouth uncovered the rest of the session. Then when she was filing my nails she was very aggressive and filed at my skin and cuticles very rough which made them sore and sensitive still even 4 days later. She then accidentally dropped the black nail polish on my brand new nike white sweatpants. If they were cheaper sweatpants I would not have cared as much, mistakes happen i understand. After she tried getting the polish out and it not working, she told me that if I couldn’t remove the stain to call the next day and let her know, that she would pay me for the stained pants. The stain never came off, and like I said, I’m not a rude person, if they were cheaper sweatpants I really would not have cared. But the next day I called and let them know apologetically that I couldn’t get the stain out and I’d like to be compensated as per our agreement. Later that night I got a text from one of the workers who told me that if I bring in my pants, they will try to remove the stain and if they couldn’t, they would pay me. The day I decided to bring in my pants, I realized my nails were chipped just 4 days after getting them done. So when I went in, I was also planning to get them touched up. When I brought the pants in, every worker looked up at me and didn’t say a word to me. After waiting for a moment, the woman who ruined my pants to begin with kept looking at me but didn’t get up to say anything. Just ignored me. Then a man got up, came over to me and handed me cash, and then looked at my sweatpants and said “I will take those from you now” I kid you not- he was trying to take them for himself. Didn’t try to get the stain out, didn’t apologize for the situation, just tried to take them out of my hands. I was like ??? I told him that I’m keeping my pants because they are MINE and he said “well if you are using this money I’m giving you for new pants, why would you even want to keep those ones” and so I asked what he was going to do with them and said he’ll be donating them. I told him no repeatedly, confused why he was trying to take them. It’s absolutely ridiculous. After a bit of back and forth he shoves the money in my hands, and walks away. I never even asked to get my nails fixed because I was absolutely BAFFLED at the lack of customer care. I ended up texting back the number who I presume to be the manager or someone about how unhappy I was with both my chipped nails and rude customer service and said I wanted a refund for my nails, they responded and told me no. All in all, the staff is rude, money hungry and downright disrespectful. I’ll be going to a different nail place from now on and telling my 5+ friends who go there to not go back.

I had gel nails done for a wedding that i was going to in the next two days from the appointment. The technition was very rushed in her application and didn't say anything directly to me. Four days after I got the manicure, all the nails started to chip. They were beautiful for the wedding but they did not last very long. The chipping is not from how active I was because I did not do anything remotely intensive with my hands. To add to that, I did not pick at them either. I spent $40 for it, which is a pretty decent price if it lasts like it should. I went back in to get my nails redone for free as per policy with the same color. The treatment was the same and she did not clean up my nails after taking off the fully chipped polish. The nail tech just went over the dust from sanding of the polish. The application was mediocre. It was uneven, there were some small bubbles, and there was pooling of gel polish in the cuticle region. After my nails were redone, they told me that the color was not exactly the same and that it was a $25 charge for the color change. I told them that I was under the impression that it was the same color. They told me that I did not have to pay. I ended up giving them two stars over one because they did end up redoing my nails free of charge. After all of that, I am skeptical about these holding up longer than the last time. Guess I'll just have to wait and see Update to this review: My redone nails have already started chipping again. It has not even been two whole days since they were redone. Don't waste your money here, it's not worth it

This salon is absolutely amazing. I have gone to many salons in SLC, some better than others but never really found one that I love. This place I will forever be loyal too. It is extremely clean, the nail techs are professional, friendly and work quickly. One of my pet peeves in a salon is when nail techs bounce between clients and you end up waiting around a lot. Not here, they focus on you from start to finish and you are in and out of that place in less than an hour. My nails always look so thin and natural, the first time I got them done I was worried they might break but they are hard as a rock, and when you have paper thin nails, that’s what you want. Also my nails never lift, like ever! So 3 weeks out when I’m washing my hair and (usually the nails start to snag in your hair) this has never happened to me. I’m am seriously amazed at how well they stay put. I have a job that is very harsh on my hands where I’ve had nails in the past breaking left and right and after I started going here my nails have survived every harsh thing I’ve done to them. Love, love, love this place, honestly can’t say enough good things! I have also recommend this place to friends and they have been thrilled with their results and now we all go there all the time. It’s great! So happy to have finally found a permanent place to go!

I went into the salon, mind you i've come here many times and never had any unpleasant experiences, the last 4 times i've come there's always been some issue. First they overcharge me $90 for some basic french tip acrylic nails, then they have some kid wondering around the salon touching me and other guests, don't get me wrong no issue with kids but i came here to relax not baby sit. Then They REPEATEDLY messed my toes up i kept saying no and repeating what i wanted even showing pictures and they just messed up, i couldn't believe someone believed this actually looked good, like they're let someone walk out the salon like that, they did a color i never asked for and i said the shape i wanted she said she'd do it and then she did the compete opposite, they also yelled at some poor old lady who just wanted her nails fixed she was super kind and the workers like refused to help her, and were blatantly disrespectful towards her, it was also her birthday and they kept being SO disrespectful, OH to add on she cut my toe in the process with the electric file i was bleeding and i had many cuts leaving the salon. Never will i return due to my horrible experiences, i literally gave up trying to tell them what i wanted and just let her do whatever, i will be going somewhere to get them fixed these were my wedding nails, 0/10 NEVER returning and would not recommend at all. A lot coming from me because i've given them many chances and they still failed to impress me and allow me to leave with cuts, blood and messed up wrecked nails. DO...
