I truly love this place! I'm their biggest fan from out-of-state. They have a great selection of greeting cards, which is what initially drew me in. I travel a lot and visit greeting card stores in every city I visit, and this is the only store that makes & carries Eid cards for Islamic holidays. That's so special and worth mentioning because it is an example of the inclusive environment fostered in the store.

In addition to greeting cards, they carry lots of fun gifts - from food items like Palestinian olive oil (!!!!!!!), spicy chili condiments, and amazing chocolate, to self-care/pampering items like shower steamers, nail art stickers, and statement apparel. Bench Pressed is one of those rare gems that makes you feel lucky to have stumbled in. Their curated gift selection is truly one of the best I’ve seen between cities — intentional, creative, and full of personality. On top of that, they design and print their own cards and paper goods in-house, which adds an extra layer of charm and authenticity to everything they offer.

The space itself feels more like a friendly neighborhood hangout than just a store. Oh I love Bench Pressed so much!!!! This gift shop is so unique and lovely. It's full of life and inspiration. Most of my favorite queer shops and artists have their art being sold here & it's amazing to see in person!! If you've ever been to Patinas, it's like that but LGBTQ/POC friendly, 100x better, and amazing staff!! They have sooooo many unique and fun cards to buy and even deals that they offer for them! I have to set a limit for myself whenever I come here because I always end up spending so much! I definitely recommend anyone to come visit.
