Horrible service. Coming from someone who has bartended for over 10 years. I first got to the bartop and waited so long for a bartender to come behind the bar and greet me, that I started timing it. I sat at the bar top with no bartender for 13 minutes. A server finally stepped behind the bar and asked what I wanted to drink, just as the bartender finally showed back up. I ordered a veggie slice pizza and a spaghetti and meatballs. I specifically ordered the veggie slice of pizza because I was craving white sauce and the veggie slice of the day said it had “Bianca sauce.” When the food came out, I took one bite of the pizza and noticed no sauce on the pizza. So I peeled back the cheese to confirm, no sauce. That was the only bite I took out of that slice of pizza. While I was almost finished with my pasta (far too long to check in with me to make sure everything was tasting good after I got my food) I explained to the bartender that the only reason I got that pizza was because I was craving the sauce, to which she explained back, in a very condescending “tough shit” type of way, Bianca sauce actually means olive oil, not white sauce. Which, okay, I’m not a pizza expert apparently so that’s my bad, whatever. But never in my ten years of experience serving and bartending have I not done what I could to fix the situation when a guest doesn’t like something they received. The protocol is always the same, you have two options. 1. Offer to exchange the item for something the guest does like or 2. Take the uneaten/unwanted item back to the kitchen and take it off the bill. It’s very simple. The bartender chose a third option I guess, to tell the customer they gotta deal with it and walk away. Yiiiikes. And just like that, the bartender was gone again. There’s was about 10 minutes left of happy hour, of which I sat with an empty beer looking at the clocking hoping the bartender would reappear so I could order another beer at the happy hour price. Didn’t happen. By 6:04 I had to flag down the lovely server who greeted me at first to ask if I could still get a happy hour price. Bottom line is, if you like getting neglected and have a bad bartender who gives no, gon and head into your local pizza Luce Seward and they’ll hook it up...
Read moreFANTASTIC FOOD for a reasonable price... Not super expensive, but NOT Domino’s quality (no badmouthing of Domino’s here, but there is a marked difference between the two!)Also, the spinach dip... Ohhhhh Emmm Freaking Geeee!!!! You get a big loaf (orrrr maybe two smaller but not small) of scored but still connected bread that’s still warm and tasty on its own... BUT, to dip that bread in there’s comes with it a beeeeeautiful dish of top toasted spinach and artichoke dip with (unknown type) cheesy goodness all mixed in together! Don’t be stingy with your dips, o you’ll run outta bread first and be eating the rest of that creamy goodness by itself with a spoon (or a couple of fingers if you get impatient?) This is completely acceptable given how delicious this amazing concoction is just by itself!!! Pizzas are all amazing, but the tour de force for me is their baked potato pizza with lots of sour cream... Ask for extra! Also maybe ask for no broccoli. It’s my experience that no matter how good the rest of the pizza is, the broccoli just never comes out tasting anything but burnt and gross. I’ve tried both ways multiple times... Meh. Five stars...
Read moreFirst of all I walked there and ordered clearly the slice of the day meat and buffalo wings well with blue cheese. The nice lady took my order and I waited about 15 minutes. I was given my order. I walked home. Got in my pajamas and opened my food. It was a slice of cheese pizza and barbecue wings. Both items were incorrect. While I was there I asked if they were hiring once again because I live 1 block away and am looking for something part time on weekends and they said no. Anyway I called the restaurant and told them my order was incorrect and that I am walking back to get the correct order. The man on the phone said ok, took my name and said he’ll have the correct order ready. When I get there and returned the food. One of the workers apologized and said we are sorry we are short staffed and busy. How are they short staffed? I’ve been asking for a job for 2 years and they always say they are not hiring. Anyway I finally got my food.. chicken was great but the slice of pizza was not what I usually get on Fridays....
