Came here again Friday, April 25,2025. Great thrift store in Minnetonka, near Hwy 101 & 7. This time around I checked out all the puzzles, which I couldn't share all the pictures here, because Google prevents over 50 pics! There is so much glassware here, kitchen appliances, furniture like chairs, placemats, cloth napkins, and so many bigger clothing, for ladies, they had up to 4x!! Please come check it out! I think Monday is 55+,SENIOR DAY! ENJOY MY PHOTOS!

I have loved this store for years! Unfortunately, this is the 3rd time I’ve found needles in clothes that I’m trying on!! I was putting on a pair of pants in the dressing room and felt something stab me 🥺 There were three needles inserted inside the pants this time. The staff need to check donations a lot more carefully, or try to observe customers since this could be someone planting needles in clothing.

Bethesda in Minnetonka has always been a place I love shopping at, until today. I purchased a tagless pashmina that was stocked with the scarves and a posted price of $2.99. The clerk at check out asked "what is this, table runner, scarf..?" and I said "it's a pashmina, an Indian scarf," then she responded In a rude tone "I can see that." The clerk then flagged down a supervisor to tell her the situation and the supervisor 'approved' selling it to me for the posted price but also told the clerk it was up to her. Then the clerk said me in a very bitter tone "well I'll do it, but just so you know that's not what it costs." Asked what it was supposed to be labeled as costing and she responded "oh at least $7.99." I told her I would never pay that much for a used thrift store scarf. I then noted noted that I had noticed they have antique confirmation and baptism certificates (Early early 1900s) for sale for almost $30 in cheap run of the mill frames. It makes me sad to see them sell something like that being sold for a profit. The certificates should be with the family and not posted on a wall for money. She responded by telling me "the family donated it...there are pictures of people over there" attempting to justify it buy pointing out other merchandise of a personal manner. She was just rude. I had bought a porcelain bell and recipe box and she didn't even wrap them up or put them in a bag for me so I wrapped up my purchases myself and THEN she asked if I wanted a bag. I am really quite disgusted by this entire conversation and exchange-after I wrapped them up myself. My husband said he has seen this woman treat customers quite poorly on numerous occasions. I think she is the woman so many other people have noted is rude in so many other comments. I don't understand she can't be nice to people and why the store isn't doing anything about how she treats people. The entire experience was unsettling and a real slap in the face. I don't know that I want to shop there anymore, and that makes me sad because I love purchasing antiques there. There isn't much anyone can do, she needs training on customer service and presenting herself as a good person & I think your company needs to take a look at what you are willing to sell. Items that have personal information such as full names, birth dates, and other identifying information should not be for sale. Also, I saw a lot of unacceptably high prices today, more so than I have ever seen before. People shop here for thrift store prices and to contribute to a higher cause, not to get ripped off for used items that they can purchase for a similar price brand new. Thank you for listening to my review. I hope things change, but if not I am uncomfortable shopping in that type of a toxic environment.

This is by far my favorite consignment store, and I get the majority of my clothing & other miscellaneous items here. I've been going here for years and recommend it to all of my friends. Their inventory is fun and useful, and their community values shine through. You can feel good knowing you are buying reused items & that you are helping people in need & the helping planet when you shop with them. They are a Lutheran thrift store, but it is not overwhelming, and they are accepting of all denominations and identities. Staff members & volunteers are always friendly (and will make sure to wrap any breakable items for you at checkout!!) They frequently put new items out, and their store is not too overwhelming and is easy to navigate. You can always find something when you go in, even if it's not what you went in looking for. They have frequent sales, and all of their items are reasonably priced and affordable. Their Covid precautions have been fantastic; there are clear dividers for customer flow, cart-cleaning products are available when you walk in, hand sanitizer is stationed around the store, and the checkout counters have protective...

Should not put out clothing items that are torn, dirty, or out of fashion. If store does not want to refuse any donation, team up with an organization who will pay poundage for items unsuitable for sale. The shop should aim for a reputation of only selling clean clothing in good repair...items people will want to buy. If store staff would not buy it, chances are good the average shopper would not buy either.

The last time I was in the shop, I took two items to the cashier tha t were not suitable for purchase. A pair of women's shoes marked New had no tips on the heels. The second item was a faux fur women's jacket with one sleeve nearly torn out. Neither of these should ever left the processing room.

Volunteers need to get sizes into the right ranges. Scanning daily for items in the wrong size designation would make shopping more efficient.

Finally, what has happened to half price end of month? Seems you had a lot of sales...
