Public Beach Access - #49 @ Pompano Joe's — Attraction in Miramar Beach

Pompano’s Joes Fresh Seafood restuarant was by far our favorite. We went through many restaurants in both Destine, crest view & fort Walton and this one was perfect! They offer a lunch menu with reduced prices. Your plates offered lots of food! They have the jumbo shrimps both fried & coconut. My husbands fave that he had twice was the broiled seafood platter the waiter recommended it blackened and it was perfection. I enjoyed the fried fish platter and then went for the coconut shrimp with gumbo! My parents really loved the mahi mahi fish with grilled shrimps topped with their crab sauce! It was all great especially our awesome waiter! The drinks are perfect as well! The oysters are cheaper than any other restaurant we tried and still big! Yes we came twice b/c it was that great! We stayed down the street at the surf side condos which allowed us to enjoy this beautiful beach filled with fishes and crabs...

This is a perfect spot! Beautiful sand and water. There are clean restrooms and a place to shower off. There is a ramp entrance at the restroom building. To the left or right you will find stair entrances down to the beach. Pompano Joe's also has an entrance to a lower beach bar area with available tables and chairs if you're eating or drinking there, they open at 11am. If you bring a canopy or tent type grotto you will need to assemble it in line with others farther back from the water, as only umbrellas and chairs can be placed closer to the water. There is ample parking. If it's packed go down Driftwood rd. across from this beach access you will find overflow parking. You can access the restaurant this way also if you can't park easily...

Beautiful white sandy beaches! Gorgeous ocean. And it's all free. It is well kept and well protected. Law enforcement there are always present but consummate professionals. They are definitely more visable than vocal. The beach has a cool ebb and flow. Traffic gets thick but stays moving. There is a nice little lot to park in on Ellis rd. Off of scenic coast drive. There are clean bathrooms, rinse off hoses and showers and if you're thirsty for an adult beverage, #POMPANOJOES has a beach level bar! PAY ATTENTION TO THE FLAGS OF THE DAY.
