Through Instagram I saw this advertisement for a “free haircut” so I chatted with someone via direct message. I booked an appointment through this and this is also for a new location in Destin so some of these reviews might be for another. However, going there this weekend, I didn’t receive any short of discount and when I asked about the advertisement they said it’s only for color treatment. Ummm interesting. Well, that is false advertising folks. So just another place I will not go to in this area. It’s very disappointing from living in Nashville to Atlanta and to come to this beautiful area and just really not find the right hairstylist or salon. I’d also say that the experience wasn’t great. the girl was nice, but I felt she was tired. Didn’t feel like being there. Hair cut was fine but I wasn’t wowed or given a mirror to look at the back. Again she was fine. Seemed young. No conversation. Just not the high vibe experience in super disappointing when you go to check out thinking you’re a first time client and never even saying sorry for the mislead. Of course I paid and I gave a little bit of a tip because I was pretty upset but I decided it’s OK. I’m going to continue to have a great day. I just won’t go back to this place, but I wanted to post this review which I never do just to let others know to not go somewhere where they actually are false advertising only for a business for the new year, but don’t seem to really care about customers I would say vs generating new leads. First of all, I’ve never seen a request for a standing hair cut! Made so much sense afterwards.

So let me start by saying I really like this place. I brought my wife here after seeing the solid 5.0 review score after 31 reviews and I have not been disappointed. I brought my wife in for a root color treatment and a short trim and added a layered cut after arriving at location.

First off, let me say that the the staff that work there I believe are both owners of the place. I called to make an appointment and I ended up speaking with Savannah. Threw me back at first.

Secondly, they will take their time with you. They aren’t there to take any shortcuts and will do their best to take care of you. Both Rae and Savannah seem to be real professionals of their trade and don’t seem to need to rush in order to get you exactly what you came for.

Also, something I noticed while waiting for my wife, is that Savannah was smiling the entire time she was drying a customer’s hair. They weren’t making any kind of banter or anything that would prompt it. It just made such an impression on me. Nothing is worse than going to a place only to feel like their chore.

Lastly, 2 hours and $145 later, she came out happy and beautiful! Exactly as we asked and the exact color that matched her hair.

I cried the last time someone messed my hair up this bad. My hair looks as if a very inexperienced me did it. The young lady felt bad and expressed that she would fix it another day. I couldn’t bring myself to let her dry it or cut it. The damage is done. More chemical now will do more damage I’m sure. She asked the owner if she could cut some of the cost in which the owner refused. 300.00 for something I will need to pay someone close to the same to fix. On top of that I will need something extra to repair damage.

My back hurts from being left in the shampoo bowl for an hour when she discovered the color was far from what I asked for. My head hurts because she was ripping through my long hair as if it wasn’t attached to my head.

The worst part is the owner sat and watched her counterpart and offered no advice. I’m very accustomed to a more team oriented hairdresser who as the owner guides those around her. I know fully that I shouldn’t have went anywhere else. I travel with my job and really wanted to get my hair thinned, cut and colored before my mother comes to visit next week.

I guess I’m buying a hat to wear for a while…
