Enterprise Fitness and Personal Training Center — Attraction in Monroe

READ THIS REVIEW!!! I am a 41 year old mother of two who has made more New Year's resolutions that resulted in too many (and short-lived) gym memberships all across the east coast with none comparing to Enterprise Fitness. This is the friendliest, most down-to-earth, family-owned establishment. This is the first time in my life I ACTUALLY LOOK FORWARD TO GOING TO THE GYM! Not only are the owners and members good wholesome people who truly have your health and best interest in mind, there is always someone near who will happily and humbly help show you how to use any of the equipment. Typically I wouldn't dare enter the free weight area in a gym out of fear of embarrassment or intimidation but I am 100% comfortable at Enterprise. The owners John and Eddie Howie are brothers who couldn't be better people. It is very apparent helping people become happier and healthier is their passion in life. I've thought many times, kudos to their parents for raising such good humans! In a nutshell, Enterprise Fitness is an amazing gym that has more equipment and workout options than I've ever seen in one place, but my personal favorite is the positive atmosphere of genuine people, true acceptance of all walks of life, and helping hands to support you without making you feel like you're the dope that doesn't know what your doing. Joining Enterprise Fitness is the best thing I've done for myself and I thank my boyfriend all the time for making us join. Thank you guys, I truly appreciate your one-of-a-kind service to people! I WAS A MEMBER FOR 2.5 YRS AND WHITE MAN (BLONDE ABANNO) 1 OF THE OWNERS WAS SUPER PREJUDICE TOWARDS ME ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS.....I JUST OVER LOOKED HIM MULTIPLE TIMES BECAUSE I LOVE ME SOME EDDIE (ANOTHER OWNER) .....STORY TIME I CAME IN 2 GYM 2 WORKOUT 1 MORNING....THE BLONDE HEAD SAID CAN I TALK 2 U....I SAID SURE.....HE PROCEEDED 2 SAY HE HAD BEEN GETTING COMPLAINTS ABOUT ME "TWERKING" IN THE GYM🤔🙄 I KNEW HE WAS LYING WHEN HE SAID .....I KNEW THE MAN HAD SHOWED ME MANY TIMES HE WAS PREJUDICE BUT THIS ACT WAS OVER THE TOP....IF HE DIDNT WANT ME 2 BE A MEMBER ANYMORE I WOULD HAVE RATHER HE JUST SAID THT BECAUSE KICKING ME OUT OF THE GYM FOR TWERKING AND JUST TOOK MONEY OUT OF MY ACCOUNT IS CRAZYYYYY.....I HAVE NEVER EVER HEARD OF ANY1 GETTING PUT OUT THE GYM 4 TWERKING 🙄🙄🤣 THIS MAN IS PREJUDICE AND HE DOES NOT DESERVE 2 BE CONNECT 2 THE COMMUNITY....WE ARE NOT LIVING IN SLAVERY DAYS AND I WILL NOT BE TREATED ANY KIND OF WAY BY ANY1....IDGAF WHAT COLOR U ARE #INREALLIFE.....I HAVE PLENTY MORE STORIES ABOUT HIM BUT THT WAS JUST 1 OF THE MANY....END RESULTS: 911 I WAS TOLD 2 LEAVE THE PREMISES AND 2 NOT RETURN.....ALL BECAUSE I WAS A LOYAL....DEDICATED.... The experience at the gym is lovely, probably my favorite, but if you try to turn off the membership (4 months after your 1 year contract is complete, like I did) then things get sticky. The front desk will give you a phone number to call, and when you call, no matter what time of day you call, you will be on hold for 45 minutes or more. You call multiple times because you have a life and can't wait on hold for an hour all the time. When you finally have time to wait on the phone for an hour before a person answers you, then the service on the phone will tell you the membership is cancelled. Then the charge shows up on your credit card again, so you stop in and talk to Eddie. He says no problem, all taken care of. Then two months later you check your credit card statement and you're still being charged. So I guess I stop in again? Call the gym again? Call the service again? I have disputed the transaction through my bank, hopefully that and this review will get their attention. Shoddy work,...
