Logan Charles Salon & Spa — Attraction in Monroe

So I scheduled an appointment to get hair extensions for my wedding day two or three weeks prior. The lady who did my hair was very nice and I really liked her but I was a bit thrown off when I was told one price (under 700) then at checkout it went all the way up to almost 1100 😭

I still had scheduled for my bridal party and myself the day of. Full make up for myself, mother in law and hair for all of us.

I showed a very simple clean cut wing for reference and wanted just a little contouring. The artist started and she asked if I wanted lashes and I said as like ng as they're not huge because I have small eyes and hooded eye lids. When she spun me around after it was done I was in shock. I looked like a caky clown! It was as if she painted stage make up on me it was so thick. She also penciled in my eyebrows... Problem is I have thick eyebrows. The color was waaaaaay off and to boot she put lip liner that was not flattering to say the least. My mother in law had almost the same problem except she ended up with thick caky make up in her hair and they didn't even clean it off! I expect hair stylest to know how to be creative and given I had said "front to be softly pulled away from the face and just simple loose curls in the back for my bridesmaid" I figured that was pretty easy. Everyone's hair came out frizzy and not properly done. It didn't look like a salon had done it but that they had done it themselves.

When I switched chairs for my hair to get don't the lady seemed as if she was very annoyed. I showed her a picture of what I wanted which reflected my bridesmaid and I only got one detail out of it correct.

She bobbypinned my scalp so hard it scraped and loosened some of my extensions and scraped my scalp. The front looked "meh", she teased my hair soich that it took my over an hour to brush it out the night of my wedding with a head full.of conditioner and my curls were frizzy, like they weren't soft and feminine but hastily done. I also had asked a week prior if the times I scheduled was ok so I wouldn't feel rushed getting the venue for final touches. They said it was fine. But it think they got confused with my mother.in law scheduling herale up earlier then my 10 am appointment.

For all the Money i and my bridal party spent I expected more. I expected soft and not frizzy hair that fell out 2hours later, I expected make up that I didn't feel so embarrassed in that I wiped off prior to my ceremony and did my own leaving the gigantic eyelashes which they started falling out half way thru the day and I expectedy extensions to not be loosened so much (they're rolling on the sides because the thread was broken off)

I had a truly unprofessional hair appointment with a girl named Anna Goins. I booked the appointment in advance letting her know I needed to be done by 2pm. to get my children from school. I live 30 mins. from the salon and from the salon to school is 25 mins. I also had to have child care for my toddler. She moved my appointment back last minute when I was already in town. Then when I got there (an hour after my original appointment time) I had to wait 45 mins. for her to finish working on someone else’s hair. She was not done with my hair by 2pm and I had to leave to pick my children up from school with product still on my hair. She told me to just come back that night. That was another 30 min drive for me and a school night for my children. When I got there at 8pm she made me wait an additional 40 mins while she was working on someone else. I was there until midnight and left with orange hair. I have always been blonde but NEVER has it been orange. I messaged her to get it fixed but honestly I did not have another 6 hours to waste. So I paid her 125 dollars plus tip and left. Then a few days later she messaged me that she washed all of her checks and needed a replacement. Her messages to me were rude and unprofessional. She even went as far as messaging my Grandmother ( My Grandma who was also a client that had a horrible ten hour experience having to have her hair re-done 2 times) telling her I owe her money. This is truly unreal and I have never had such a bad experience in my life. I called the salon letting them know of my experience but nothing was done. I left a Facebook review and the salon owner took it down and text messaged me personally saying I was slamming her business. Warning to anyone looking to have their hair done. DO NOT use Anna Goins. Save yourself the hassle!!!!! Getting your hair done should not be that stressful...

I found this salon because a friend of mine gets her hair done here, and spoke very highly of Rose. I scheduled an appointment for lash extensions with her, but before doing so I chatted with her about what my desired look was. I was very specific that I did NOT want long lashes, but instead full lashes. I wanted my natural length or close to it, and just a very full lash. Rose reassured me she could do that, and even commented that she is the same way (liking shorter but fuller lashes). My appointment took about two hours, and Rose reiterated before starting that I still wanted short lashes. So I thought we were on the same page, but I should have asked to see the lashes before we started. The lashes are exactly what I did not want… they’re so long that when my eyes are open I can feel the tips against my eyelid. I do not have small/narrow eyes so it’s unfortunately not a matter of me being especially picky- they’re simply long lashes. I didn’t say anything to her when we finished up because again I should have asked to see the lashes to confirm what was being done. I own that 100%. Less than 30 hours later and gobs of the lashes are falling out. I absolutely expected shedding, because I know that’s normal, but this is above and beyond; the entire corner of one eye is gone.
