Patty & The Dogs — Attraction in Monroe

It wasnt a planned visit, but we stopped because the restaurant smelled great. The menu was awesome-looking and there was a good number people going in and out. But that's where the good in this story ends. I ordered a burger and chilli chips and my wife ordered a sausage dog... and while I can appreciate them teaching their 10 year old how to work the cash register, he needs to develop his social skills a little more. He just looked at us like we were disturbing his phone time (but that's just his generation). Anyways, we waited about 15 minutes until I got the text message saying that our food was ready. I went in to get it and he told me that it wasn't ready yet and that he would bring it out to us... he did not. We literally waited another 20 minutes or so until I went back in only to find that our food was sitting behind him the whole time. I asked him what happened and he just stared at me. No apology or anything. The young girl from the kitchen knew they were wrong because she stuck her head out as if to see if we were going to complain or make a commotion, but we were really hungry by that point so we took it anyway. SADLY, we were extremy underwhelmed due to the cold, soggy and flavorless chilli chips and the super bland smash burger. The italian sausage saved the day, but nothing else met our expectations. There was nothing that made us want to eat there again. I prefer Dukes or South 21. PYD needs...

Love, Love, LOVE Patty and the Dogs! Every single thing I have tried has been delicious. I really like their BBQ burger, and their homemade chili on chips. Surprisingly I am in love with their hot dogs more than anything else. The dog itself is tasty, their fresh toppings are great, and the yummy butter bun finishes it off perfectly. The have some desserts from other local business to enjoy as well. They have a couple seats outside but they are mostly to-go. You can also take your food to one of the nearby bars to enjoy with a cocktail. Great service here as well and it's always great to support a local family business. Oh, and there is plenty of street parking outside as well as a large parking lot right...

I've been wanting to try this place out since hearing about their food cart prior to the physical location.

Went with my girlfriend on Friday, April 11 after the rain moved out.

We got two Carolina dogs no mustard, chips, and two drinks. Staff was friendly and took our order quickly. The place is small with some seating inside to wait on food. They have seating outside which we utilized closest to the door. Our food didn't take long to come out and it was delicious. Definitely quality all beef dogs. We loved the buns also! Very delicious. Our only critique is more chili before the slaw 🤭

Definitely give this local spot a try! I know oasis is the local staple but there's no reason patty & the dogs shouldn't be added...
