Solid variety between beer, seltzer, cider, and wines. Not a ton of flavors of each but they are limited on space. You get a money card in the beginning and just go back and help yourself. No food but you can bring in take out. They occasionally run events like music bingo on Wednesdays. Owner was very nice!

Great location, good selection of drinks (craft beer, domestics, wine and hard seltzers)! Very clean and open. The owner was very helpful at explaining the self-pour process. Overall a great experience!

I love The Courthouse! It is the best bar in Monroe (and there are quite a few of them). It is very nice and comfortable and they have outdoor seating too. It is also very clean, including the bathrooms. In addition to the many beers and ciders on self-pour taps, they also have bottled wine and great mixed drinks. My fave is the Chocolate Martini. My son likes the Orange Drop. They serve a few snacks such as cake rolls, fancy nuts, and chips/dip. Patty and the Dogs is next door and the Exchange Pizza will deliver. Dean, the owner, really cares about the guest's experience. The bartender Andrea is wonderful. You can count on having a good, safe visit there. I love the trivia game on Tuesday nights and the music bingo on Wednesday is popular too. There are dart boards and he often has live music. Great...

Absolutely delightful place!! Dean is amazing and has really brought a true gem to the downtown Monroe area with The Courthouse taproom.

He thought of all the little details. Need a chilled glass for trying one of the many drink options in self pour tap? NO PROBLEM.

I was so moved during my last visit. We told Dean it was my birthday and he brought us a set of birthday plates, spoons, candles, AND MATCHES! He is simply unmatched (no pun intended).

He plays wonderful music and does music bingo on Wednesdays at 7:30, which is a wonderful time with cute but super quality prizes that keep you wanting to play again and again!

Let’s all do Dean and Monroe a favor by making sure we keep this wonderful place open and supported!

I am not sure why it has taken me this long to review this place. I always appreciate going to The Courthouse. My first experience was about two years ago. I love the concept of being able to get your card and swipe and pour and get charged for your pours. They have some of the best ciders, and as someone who doesn't drink much beer, I appreciate the selection that I have tried.
