East Frank Superette and Kitchen — Restaurant in Monroe

Sept 2022: Such a cool place! We didn't find it until the end of June but we've been SO many times since. Sunday brunch was yummy. Monday's Scandal was scandalously good. Taco Tuesday's street tacos were terrific. Wednesday's Big Ass Burritos were DEFINITELY big ass burritos. 🤣 Thursday's free "wine" tasting was informative. (We tasted sake, which we'd never had before.) Friday's Brisket was to die for. Saturday's, I'm in and out for drinks and food while playing PokémonGo! The atmosphere, camaraderie, and overall sense of being "at home" in this place will bring you back again and again! (It obviously did ME anyway!) July 2022: we are still regulars at East Frank because it's not just a food place. It's also the hangout for old, and new, friends, and chosen family. I would never have thought that people eating at a restaurant or going out for drinks would become family, but they did. This place also has Trivia and Drag nights that are great fun for all! First off, I love east frank. Great food. Great slushies. Pretty good atmosphere. But the reason I’m leaving 2 stars is because they didn’t show up when it mattered the most and it took away from my time with my wife on Mother’s Day. Long story short, I ordered through uber eats, they ran out of a few things, we were not notified other than them marking it out on the receipt and still getting charged, meanwhile I also had to make 2 trips because the item they ran out of was my entire lunch. The only reason I didn’t give it a 1 star is because of Quincy. I will likely go back, not on a holiday. - updated to 3 stars - Quincy was great. He handled everything very professionally. But he didn’t get there till I was leaving the first time and I’m pretty sure he answered the phone when I called on the way back the second time and got me some food. I am a regular here up Until the last 2 weeks last week I came in had a beer and chips and was told my 13 month old was causing issues when he was just fussy had he been screaming I would had left now one week later we are there for a while with no issues as soon as my son made a peep the owner came up to us and said he was causing a problem.. of course they waited till I paid and tipped I’ve worked in the industry for 17 years and not a single owner would consider this for a place that says they don’t discriminate they do against kids I called after and was told it’s a “bad look to have a baby at a bar” when it’s not it’s a convenient store with take out I’ve never been more insulted I moved here from mass to get away from places like this and they deff are not who they say they are I mean it was 4:00 on a Tuesday why can’t my...
