Sorella Coffee — Restaurant in Monroe

I tried this place for the first time about 2 weeks ago. I had a regular coffee and my husband had some coffee with cream and caramel, we both ate some cake that had almonds on top and banana on bottom (I am not sure the name). It was the best I have ever tried here in NC. The reason why I am writing this review just now is because I was looking on Google what time it will be open tomorrow, since We went there We’ve been dreaming about coming back. It’s so affordable coffee place that We could come every week, unfortunately We just don’t have time every week. I highly recommend!!! I went here this morning. The place is beautiful and the atmosphere was wonderful. Whomever designed this place has to watch Sweet Magnolia cause I felt like I was in that cute little town. I wanted to grab my laptop and sit there all day!! Next time, can I just take the decor with me to my office where I’m currently sitting to work? Thanks! Now to what everyone wants to know about…the Coffee. It was AMAZING! I got an Iced Carmel Latte with Oat milk and I may or may have not left with an oatmeal cookie at 7:30AM. This is a cute and cozy boutique and aesthetically pleasing coffee shop in Downtown Monroe. Loved the decor and that it was thriving when walking in. Knocking off points for customer service and the sub par coffee. When first walking up to the counter, the lady taking orders did not seem thrilled to be there and didn’t greet us with a hello but rather directly asked “what can I get you”. Not the end of the world but for such a welcoming place from a decor standpoint and seeing great reviews, it through me off. Could be an off day and I totally get that. Hopefully a one off situation.
